A new study published by The Lancet estimates that 655,000 Iraqis, the vast majority of them innocent civilians, have been killed as a result of the bombing and occupation of Iraq. Was this a human price worth paying for the supposed liberation of an oppressed people? How does freedom in Iraq under Bush's mandate compare with Saddam Hussein's regime?

The claim that Iraq is now liberated and that its people have suffered for the glorious opportunity of seeing democracy and freedom flourish throughout their country is the last thread the Neo-Cons are hanging onto as claims of weapons of mass destruction and Al-Qaeda ties evaporated long ago. Yet to claim Iraq is liberated is the most absurd of any of the justifications for going to war or "staying the course."

Here's a rundown of the gracious liberties the Iraqi people have been afforded.

RIGHT TO PROTEST

- Iraqis are routinely arrested and taken to Abu Ghraib style detention facilities for the crime of "showing dislike" to their occupiers. In one case this involved an individual holding up a protest placard. In another incident, an Iraqi had his mouth taped over and was arrested for "making anti-coalition statements." In some cases, protesters are simply gunned down and killed. The media are banned from reporting on protests. Not even Palestinians are subject to this kind of treatment.

- In legalese resurrected verbatim from Saddam Hussein’s penal code, the Iraqi government has criminalized criticism and even ridicule of the government or any of its officials. Ridiculing is defined as exposing corruption or questioning the actions of government officials. Iraq's new government considers itself to be so democratic that dissent is unnecessary - so they've outlawed it!

PROTECTION FROM UNLAWFUL SEARCHES AND SEIZURES

- Iraqis are kidnapped and thrown in some of the same dungeons used by Saddam Hussein for the crime of not showing their papers at checkpoints. Those who cite the threat of car bombs as the necessity which mandates this should recall the incident where British SAS personnel were caught dressed up as Arabs with fake wigs and garb attacking a police station.

- Iraqi's homes are routinely raided and all military age men arrested.

RIGHT TO KEEP AND BEAR ARMS

- Immediately after the invasion and occupation, all Iraqis were ordered to turn in their guns or face arrest. Iraqis enjoyed universal arms ownership under Saddam Hussein.

INSTANT EXTRA-JUDICIAL PUNISHMENT

- Petty thieves who steal such things as firewood have their vehicles crushed by U.S. Abrams tanks as punishment.

- The UN's chief anti-torture expert recently said that cases of torture in Iraq outstripped those under Saddam Hussein and that the situation was "out of control." The outgoing UN human rights chief Dr. John Pace dropped a bombshell when he told an obscure Maltese newspaper that as many as a thousand detainees a month are being tortured to death in Iraq.

- Iraqis are subject to "collective punishment" - an staple fascist model - whereby U.S. forces kill ten men from one village in response to a single U.S. army casualty.

- Multiple videos have surfaced which show U.S. military personnel driving down Iraqi highways and randomly assassinating drivers on a whim and then laughing and high-fiving. Other videos show U.S. forces zealously finishing off wounded Iraqis with glee, declaring the carnage "awesome" and anticipating the next kill. Another video shows troops bemoaning the fact that they are not able to shoot children who throw rocks.

FREEDOM OF THE PRESS

- Arab television networks and newspapers that do not obediently tow the line of the occupation are raided and shut down and editors are sometimes gunned down on the street. The U.S. military plants propaganda in newspapers as a matter of course.

- A pre-war policy outlined the intention of the U.S. military to target for assassination any independent reporter who was not embedded within U.S. ranks. SInce that order more journalists have been killed in Iraq than the entirety of the Vietnam war - the latest being British ITV reporter Terry Lloyd, who was shot in the head by U.S. troops. Mazen Dana, the Award winning Reuters camera man, was shot dead after uncovering evidence of U.S. mass graves.

- "Dozens of Iraqi journalists have been kidnapped by criminal gangs or detained by the American military, on suspicion that they are helping Sunni insurgents or Shiite militias. One, Bilal Hussein, who photographed insurgents in Anbar Province for The Associated Press, has been in American custody without charges since April," reported the New York Times.

DEMOCRACY

- Local elections and in provincial cities and towns across Iraq were cancelled in favor of U.S. "hand-picked mayors and administrators," that were formerly part of Saddam Hussein's Baath Party.

RIGHT TO PEACEABLY ASSEMBLE

- Iraqis are subject to snap announcements of curfews and ordered to remain in their homes.

Iraq is nothing more than an elected dictatorship.

Sounds like another country a bit closer to home.

Nexus Points Emerge For Potential Summer Attack

All indications suggest uncomfortable season of fear ahead

Numerous nexus points have emerged that suggest major western governments are preparing for a summer terror attack that will come close to but not match 9/11 in scale and will provide the justification needed for an air strike on Iran before the midterm elections in early November.

While there is a danger of becoming the boy who cried wolf, disturbing trends over the last couple of months do strongly indicate that the twist in the tale, which is always to be expected in an election year, will be a staged attack on a major developed city or the soccer World Cup. Here are the red flags.

- An increase in taped messages from supposed Al-Qaeda figures Osama bin Laden and Musab Al-Zarqawi.

- Terror arrests in England and Canada that seem to have little purpose other than making a future attack seem inevitable in the minds of the public.

- A report in the Washington Post detailing how 4,000 federal government officials will enter shadow government bunkers on June 19th for a continuity of government drill in anticipation of a major terrorist attack. Every major terrorist attack is preceded by or runs parallel to a government drill in order to provide governments with plausible deniability if they get caught facilitating the attack.

- Martial law evacuation exercises being conducted in Washington DC under the cover of manufactured crises.

- A nationwide FEMA program teaching Pastors and other neighborhood volunteers to inculcate the inevitability of martial law in America to their communities and urging them not to resist when it happens, a procedure set to be completed at the end of August.

- A report from CBS News quoting anonymous US government officials who say that they would be surprised if an attack didn't happen before the end of the year, albeit on a smaller scale than 9/11.

- Sagging presidential approval numbers that have dipped into the twenties for the first time.

- A GOP memo that touts a devastating attack by terrorists on US soil as a way of keeping the Republican party from losing control of Congress in the 2006 midterm elections and restoring Bush's image as a war leader.

- The need for a pretext to launch an air strike on Iran's alleged nuclear processing facilities, an eventuality scheduled for later this month or in July, according to former CIA analyst Ray McGovern.

- Israel's fundamentalist insistence that such an attack be launched as soon as possible.

- A pretext that could be created by means of a false flag attack on the World Cup in Germany, blamed on Hizbullah and by proxy Iran. Israel have sent out veiled threats that this could happen and Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad's decision to travel to Germany if his country reaches the second round of the tournament is more likely to be based around his desire to offset the potential attack than his love of soccer.

Any future terror attack does not even have to lead back to Iran in order to rally enough support to attack an innocent country as we saw with Iraq. About half of Americans see the world as divided between good guys and bad guys. There really is no need for the shadow government to become more sophisticated in their methods but this might prove their downfall at a later date.

When considered in a nexus, these indications all unfortunately illustrate a desperate drive towards preparing western populations for another attack this summer.

Today's scenes do not herald 'new civil rights movement,' only invading army of foreigners

Today's massive immigration protests which are being afforded lavish and complimentary media attention were orchestrated by the Neo-Cons and the Bush administration and represent a fifth columnist movement openly intent on destroying America as we know it.

The agenda is multi-faceted and includes protecting government drug-running operations, balkanizing the US and lowering the standard of living, and inciting race riots that lead to the justification of martial law and internment procedures being implemented.

As we reported last month, in late December 2005, Mexican President Vicente Fox hired a lobbying firm to sweeten political sentiment in the US towards Mexicans and the immigration issue. The same PR expert and GOP political consultant helped George W. Bush defeat Ann Richards for the governorship of Texas in 1994 and worked on both Bush's presidential campaigns.

Rob Allyn of Rob Allyn & Co. secretly engineered Fox's 2000 presidential victory and is closely tied with George W. Bush.

There can be no doubt that a foreign government is working in tandem with the government of the United States and a powerful, politically-connected public relations firm to manufacture consent and to hold back a growing grassroots movement to defend America's sovereignty.

The LA Times reported that Vicente Fox hired Allyn & Co. when the rumblings of immigration reform began to be heard in Congress. The firm was hired to create a mechanism to sway public opinion in favor of Mexico and Mexican immigrants into the U.S. at the same moment public concern over border security was beginning to reach a fever pitch. The timing is impeccable.

The legislation that Fox found so "shameful" is the very same that is being protested so vehemently by hundreds of thousands around the country. The mainstream media's massive protest coverage kept coming back to a few central themes: the protesters are against "criminalizing" the illegal crossing of U.S. borders and they are seeking a blanket amnesty for undocumented immigrants currently residing in the country. Fox turned to Allyn & Co. to push this very agenda.

An LA Times report on last December's announcement quotes Allyn (pictured) on his tactics on behalf of Fox,

''Our focus is on public opinion, which influences policy outcomes in Congress,'' said Allyn, 46, who grew up in Huntington Beach, Calif., and moved to Texas when he was in high school. "There is a huge misperception among the U.S. public about Mexico.''

Allyn set up a phony human rights front group called Democracy Watch, supposedly to "monitor" elections in Mexico. The group solicited donations and used the money to illegally sway the Mexican election in favor of Vicente Fox.

The scenes you will witness on the streets of America over the next few days do not illustrate a 'new civil rights movement' but an invading army of militant foreigners bankrolled and supported by predominantly white rich Neo-Cons and Neo-Libs who are using the different Mexican race groups as a vice to crush the sleeping American middle class.

The real agenda embraced by the ringleaders of the protests are still being whitewashed and covered up by the mainstream media.

The demonstrations are part of an orchestrated advance on the part of a race hate movement that seeks to enact a brutal program of ethnic cleansing that will wipe uncooperative whites and blacks from the south and western states off the map, as detailed in our previous article.

The Atzlan movement openly states its goal is to create a separatist state that encompasses the entire southern and western states. Their version of Hitler's Mein Kampf is the Plan of San Diego, which outlines the plan to ethnically cleanse the entire region of whites and blacks by mass genocide. Mecha's own slogan reads, "For the race everything. For those outside the race, nothing."

The catalyst for the agenda to intern millions of Americans deemed subversive in a time of manufactured chaos could be race riots kick-started by radicalized Mexican Klan groups and their establishment controllers.

During our reporting on the immigration protests that are a front for the violent separatist Atzlan movement, watching Spanish TV news stations we were able to ascertain that the marches were not wholly an organic response to the introduction of the immigration bill but were being artificially promoted and organized by the Spanish-language media.

The very next day the Associated Press reported that, "Many of the 500,000 people who crammed downtown Los Angeles on Saturday to protest legislation that would make criminals out of illegal immigrants learned where, when and even how to demonstrate from the Spanish-language media.

"For English-speaking America, the mass protests in Los Angeles and other U.S. cities over the past few days have been surprising for their size and seeming spontaneity."

"But they were organized, promoted or publicized for weeks by Spanish-language radio hosts and TV anchors as a demonstration of Hispanic pride and power."

Last week Homeland Security Secretary Michael Chertoff dismissed concerns over repeated incursions onto US soil by the Mexican military and drug runners, calling claims of a border war "scare tactics."

Over the past few years there have been hundreds of incidents of rocket attacks, drive by shootings, murders of sheriffs and police chiefs and abductions of US citizens. If Al-Qaeda was engaging in this kind of behavior it would be all over the front pages without recourse.

Sheriff Rick Flores, whose jurisdiction includes vast swathes of the southern border, told the London Telegraph last week, "Yeah, it's a war."

"These people are sophisticated and they are organised. They wear body armour and helmets, just like our soldiers in Iraq. They have no respect for life and are not afraid of law enforcement on this side."

The National Executive Director of the Minuteman Civil Defense Corps Al Garza calls the southern border a "warzone" and says that areas of south Texas and Arizona are more dangerous per capita than Israel's West Bank.

"We are virtually at war, we should in fact deploy our military to the borders. You do that and you will seize all these criminals and all these drug cartels that do what they want to do," Garza told The Alex Jones Show.

Mexican drug commando organization los Zetas (pictured) has been carrying out kidnappings of American citizens and politically motivated assassinations which have stretched from the border town of Nuevo Laredo through to Dallas, Houston and San Antonio all the way to Nashville, Tenn., and Atlanta, Ga.

Why would the US government make it easier for drug smuggling death squads to enter the country? Because the US government controls los Zetas and uses it as the front group for their narco-empire.

Retired DEA Agent Celerino "Cele" Castillo III served for 12 years in the Drug Enforcement Administration where he built cases against organized drug rings in Manhattan, raided jungle cocaine labs in the amazon, conducted aerial eradication operations in Guatemala, and assembled and trained anti-narcotics units in several countries.

Castillo affirms the truth is that they are still working for the US government in protecting drug routes to keep the wheels of Wall Street oiled. Castillo has gone on the record to state that the commandos are working directly for the US government drug cartel in carrying out hits on rival drug smugglers who aren't paying their cut.

This is why President Bush attacked the Minutemen as "vigilantes" and the Border Patrol in Arizona were ordered to stand down and not arrest people illegally crossing the border, in order to make the Minutemen look bad and ineffective.

The World is Uniting Against the Bush Imperium

Is the United States a superpower? I think not. Consider these facts:

The financial position of the US has declined dramatically. The US is heavily indebted, both government and consumers. The US trade deficit both in absolute size and as a percentage of GDP is unprecedented, reaching more than $800 billion in 2005 and accumulating to $4.5 trillion since 1990. With US job growth falling behind population growth and with no growth in consumer real incomes, the US economy is driven by expanding consumer debt. Saving rates are low or negative.

The federal budget is deep in the red, adding to America's dependency on debt. The US cannot even go to war unless foreigners are willing to finance it.

Our biggest bankers are China and Japan, both of whom could cause the US serious financial problems if they wished. A country whose financial affairs are in the hands of foreigners is not a superpower.

The US is heavily dependent on imports for manufactured goods, including advanced technology products. In 2005 US dependency (in dollar amounts) on imported manufactured goods was twice as large as US dependency on imported oil. In the 21st century the US has experienced a rapid increase in dependency on imports of advanced technology products. A country dependent on foreigners for manufactures and advanced technology products is not a superpower.

Because of jobs offshoring and illegal immigration, US consumers create jobs for foreigners, not for Americans. Bureau of Labor Statistics jobs reports document the loss of manufacturing jobs and the inability of the US economy to create jobs in categories other than domestic "hands on" services. According to a March 2006 report from the Center for Immigration Studies, most of these jobs are going to immigrants: "Between March 2000 and March 2005 only 9 percent of the net increase in jobs for adults (18 to 64) went to natives. This is striking because natives accounted for 61 percent of the net increase in the overall size of the 18 to 64 year old population."

A country that cannot create jobs for its native born population is not a superpower.

In an interview in the April 17 Manufacturing & Technology News, former TCI and Global Crossing CEO Leo Hindery said that the incentives of globalization have disconnected US corporations from US interests. "No economy," Hindery said, "can survive the offshoring of both manufacturing and services concurrently. In fact, no society can even take excessive offshoring of manufacturing alone." According to Hindery, offshoring serves the short-term interests of shareholders and executive pay at the long-term expense of US economic strength.

Hindery notes that in 1981 the Business Roundtable defined its constituency as employees, shareholders, community, customers, and the nation." Today the constituency is quarterly earnings. A country whose business class has no sense of the nation is not a superpower.

By launching a war of aggression on the basis of lies and fabricated "intelligence," the Bush regime violated the Nuremberg standard established by the US and international law. Extensive civilian casualties and infrastructure destruction in Iraq, along with the torture of detainees in concentration camps and an ever-changing excuse for the war have destroyed the soft power and moral leadership that provided the diplomatic foundation for America's superpower status. A country that is no longer respected or trusted and which promises yet more war isolates itself from cooperation from the rest of the world. An isolated country is not a superpower.

A country that fears small, distant countries to such an extent that it utilizes military in place of diplomatic means is not a superpower. The entire world knows that the US is not a superpower when its entire available military force is tied down by a small lightly armed insurgency drawn from a Sunni population of a mere 5 million people.

Neoconservatives think the US is a superpower because of its military weapons and nuclear missiles. However, as the Iraqi resistance has demonstrated, America's superior military firepower is not enough to prevail in fourth generation warfare. The Bush regime has reached this conclusion itself, which is why it increasing speaks of attacking Iran with nuclear weapons.

The US is the only country to have used nuclear weapons against an opponent. If six decades after nuking Japan the US again resorts to the use of nuclear weapons, it will establish itself as a pariah, war criminal state under the control of insane people. Any sympathy that might still exist for the US would immediately disappear, and the world would unite against America.

A country against which the world is united is not a superpower.

NASA building an anti-matter spaceship for Mars mission

NASA researchers are working on a design for a new spaceship for the Mars mission which will be powered by anti-matter, RAW STORY has found.

If successful, "perhaps the first humans to reach Mars will arrive in spaceships powered by the same source that fired starships across the universes of our science fiction dreams," writes Bill Steigerwald of the NASA Goddard Space Flight Center.

Most self-respecting starships in science fiction stories use antimatter as fuel for a good reason – it’s the most potent fuel known. While tons of chemical fuel are needed to propel a human mission to Mars, just tens of milligrams of antimatter will do (a milligram is about one-thousandth the weight of a piece of the original M&M candy).

However, in reality this power comes with a price. Some antimatter reactions produce blasts of high energy gamma rays. Gamma rays are like X-rays on steroids. They penetrate matter and break apart molecules in cells, so they are not healthy to be around. High-energy gamma rays can also make the engines radioactive by fragmenting atoms of the engine material.

The NASA Institute for Advanced Concepts (NIAC) is funding a team of researchers working on a new design for an antimatter-powered spaceship that avoids this nasty side effect by producing gamma rays with much lower energy.

Antimatter is sometimes called the mirror image of normal matter because while it looks just like ordinary matter, some properties are reversed. For example, normal electrons, the familiar particles that carry electric current in everything from cell phones to plasma TVs, have a negative electric charge. Anti-electrons have a positive charge, so scientists dubbed them "positrons".

When antimatter meets matter, both annihilate in a flash of energy. This complete conversion to energy is what makes antimatter so powerful. Even the nuclear reactions that power atomic bombs come in a distant second, with only about three percent of their mass converted to energy.

Previous antimatter-powered spaceship designs employed antiprotons, which produce high-energy gamma rays when they annihilate. The new design will use positrons, which make gamma rays with about 400 times less energy.

The NIAC research is a preliminary study to see if the idea is feasible. If it looks promising, and funds are available to successfully develop the technology, a positron-powered spaceship would have a couple advantages over the existing plans for a human mission to Mars, called the Mars Reference Mission.

How Immigration Is Being Used To Destroy The US By The Elite.

Illegal immigration has been the hot topic on the news this past week. Everyone has been talking about the 500,000 people that gathered in Los Angeles to protest the immigration law which has been proposed by Congress. In this article I want to explain why immigration is being used as a tool to divide and conquer the United States.

Throughout history, divide and conquer is a technique which has been used to destroy many tribes. Groups of people who were traditionally hostile to each other were put in the same place, and this caused them to slaughter and kill each other. This trick was done very successfully by European nations in Africa, and the effects of it can still be seen today. The same thing is occuring in the US. People who are not American citizens want to live and work here. Many of them don't pay taxes because they don't have a social security number, and leave the tax burden on American citizens.

Now, while illegal immigration can refer to anyone who comes into the US illegal, the bulk of this issue has been directed at hispanic people. Many people tell me that they should be able to work in the US and make better lives for them and their families. My response to that is why can't the governments of Central America stop enslaving their people and create a democratic society, so they won't be tempted to flee here?

Some people may read this and think I'm a racist. That isn't true, although that is what the corporate controlled media would like you to believe. Racism has nothing to do with this issue, and I hate when people bring it up. The issue is corrupt governments and corporations. They are the real enemy, not the illegals. When companies hire illegals to do work for $3 an hour, though that may be a lot of money compared to where they came from, by US standards that is poverty.

This illegals are slaves. Many of them try to live the American dream by going out and leasing cars, houses, and other items. Many of them get in debt with credit cards and other loans. Because of their low wages and lack of education, they are put in a situation where they cannot get out. They might as well have chains around their arms.

Many middle class Americans believe that George W. Bush cares about illegal immigration. Many think that he wants to stop it. Many of these same Americans hate hispanic people and use race as an issue to get them to leave. In reality, Bush needs illegals to come to the US. More have come here since he became president in 2000. Illegal immigrants help drive down the wages and push the US towards a third world country.

With jobs going to India and China, and illegals entering the country in record numbers, the middle class will be destroyed in about 10 to 20 years, if not sooner. America will become like China, Mexico, or Russia. Either you're rich, or you're poor. This is how it has been in most civilizations for thousands of years. America was different, now it is going back to the old system of doing things.

All you Americans reading this who want fight illegals or kill them, read this carefully. You are doing what the government wants you to do. When the illegals start rioting, and fights break out, this gives the military industrial complex the only excuse it needs to declare martial law and bring in a police state. Bush and his cronies hope an all out civil war breaks out. With an estimated 12 million illegals or more, it is very likely.

Don't think for a second that certain elements of the US government didn't know illegal immigration would become a problem. They knew it would be a problem, and that is why they allowed it to reach the level it has reached now. The need the US to crash and burn, so that "they" can bring in a New World Order. Hispanic hate groups like La Mecha and La Raza who advocate killing whites and blacks are funded by old rich men in New York.

The stage is being set for the US to fall. You have to understand that illegals ARE NOT the problem. It is our corrupt government who allows them to come here in the first place, driving down the wages and pushing the country into a slave society.

The Stench of AT&T and Other Multinational Corporations.

When I checked my phone/internet bill this month from AT&T, I was so angry that my chest started to tighten, and my veins started to swell up. My bill is normally $57, but for some reason the company decided to raise it to $90 this month. This really makes me angry. I get really sick and tired of these corporations and their stupid trash.

They think just because they have billions of dollars they can do whatever they want. They think we "must" have their services, and can't live without it. Why my bill is so high I don't known as of this writing. The billion department is closed until later on today. What I do know is that corporations like AT&T and Microsoft are nothing but pieces of trash. They conspire against their customers, and charge them outrageous fees.

Even worse, these corporations want to have absolute control over the internet. AT&T CEO Edward Whitacre said last year at an expo that the internet should "only be for the rich." Bill Gates has stated that people need to be charged money to send out emails. If this makes you angry, it should. It should make you angry because rich old men who have more money than they will ever need are trying to control everyone below them.

It is not enough that these people have billions of dollars. They want absolute control over my life and yours. The internet is the greatest threat to their power. Ideas and information move at the speed of light, and they can't stand it. I've made up my mind that in May I will cancel this service and swtich to a smaller company which is not a monopoly. One that doesn't suddenly increase your bill for no reason.

I have boycotted many large companies, and Walmart is included on this list. I suggest you do the same. None of these companies have your best interests in mind. You are a number to them, as slave. They are vampires, and will suck the financial life blood from your veins. Once they are done they will leave you destitute and poor, a slave to debt. The outsource jobs to third world countries, and enslave the people who live there. They then turn around and take away the jobs of you and I and sell us their goods for outrageous prices.

Even worse, they lobby our government officials to pass laws which are favorable to them. This is a classic example of fascism. We need to fight back. You can start by boycotting large companies and supporting small businesses by shopping at their stores. You can fight by canceling your bills, and switching to a cheaper service. Don't let corporations suck you dry.

AT&T has won the battle, but they will not win the war. I titled this blog entry "the stench of AT&T and other Multinational Corporations" because that all have a stench which is very difficult to bear.

The Staged Debate About Vitamin B and Other Minerals.

The medical establishment is debating the value Vitamin B, C, and other mineral supplements. Several articles have been written about this in in the Associated Press. This annoys me, because there shouldn't be a debate. Vitamin supplements give our body the nutrients it needs.

One doesn't have to be a rocket scientists to conclude that most of the food we eat today is processed, and does not have many of the important vitamins we need to stay healthy and active. Yet, the medical establishment continues to have "staged" debate about the uses of these vitamins, which leaves many people confused. The real reason why the medical establishment debates vitamins is because they ARE healthy for us.

It has been shown that both Vitamin B and C are capable of reducing the chances of getting a variety of cancers. Most animals in the wild naturally produce their own vitamin C, and you never hear about a goat or dog dying from a heart attack. This is because vitamin C has been linked to keeping the heart healthy. Because many Americans don't get enough vitamin C, they are dying from heart disease in record numbers.

The medical establishment doesn't care about curing any diseases, and I laugh whenever people talk about it. There is no money to be made in cures, but there are billions of dollars to be made in treatments. The medical establishment is afraid of anything which would prevent people from getting diseases, because they make money off treating diseases.

Vitamins and supplements can prevent many chronic diseases and cancers. Those who take them will live long, healthy lives. By taking vitamin supplements early in life and eating properly you will increase you lifespan. Soda, fast food, and sweets are the things that in the long term lead to all kinds of diseases. These things are the problem, not vitamins. Garlic, flakseed oil, vitamin B, C, and other herbs have been shown to be very healthy.

Not only are they healthy, they are cheap. People have begun to catch on, and the mineral supplement industry is making billions every year. This is a threat to medical companies who sell garbage medicine like Zoloft or Prozac, medicines that have many harmful side effects. A war is being raged against vitamin supplements.

One of the goals of the globalists is to reduce the world's population. They want to reduce the population of the US from 300 million to 100 million by 2050. If they eradicate vitamins and continue feeding us processed foods this will happen. To fight back Americans need to educate themselves about alternative medicines, and the corruption which exists in the medical community.

Actor Charlie Sheen Questions Official 911 Story. No Response From The Mainstream Media.

In a day and age when many Americans know more about Jessica Simpson than the Constitution or Bill of Rights, it is strange that no one is talking about the comments made earlier this week by actor Charlie Sheen. Sheen, who interviewed Alex Jones on his radio talk show, expressed doubts about the official version of the events which occured on September 11, 2001.

Charlie Sheen is one of the view prominent actors in this country that is bold enough to talk about serious 911 questions. Others like Madonna simply move where the political wind blows, as long as it enhances their careers. Charlie Sheen comes from a family which has always been active in politics. What really amazes me is how the mainstream media has been totally silent about the interview.

I've heard nothing from the Associated Press, the New York Times, or CNN. Carlos Santana blasted Bush this week, and it made headlines. Yet when Charlie Sheen gives a real interview about the greatest terrorist attack in American history, there is a total media blackout. The average American who gets their news from CNN or FOX probably aren't even aware that Charlie Sheen gave an interview this week. Many may never know.

This is clear evidence that a coverup involving 911 is at work. This is just one more piece of evidence that adds to the hundreds of other smoking guns. I find it hard to believe that no one in the mainstream media knew about the interview Charlie Sheen gave. They just intentionally failed to report on it.

Why? For those who are new to this website, the answer may not be clear. But to those who have been reading my blog on a regular basis, the answer is as clear as the blue sky on a summer day. The answer is because if a prominent actor gets on tv, and asks serious questions about 911, how long will it be before other Americans begin asking the same questions?

It would be like a domino effect. More and more people would begin to wake up, and perhaps even a true investigation of 911 could take place. But as long as the population gets their information from the mainstream media this will never happen. This is why it is so important to read and watch alternative news sites. We try to publish the truth, regardless of how bad it may be. The alternative media for the most part isn't owned by large corporations which control governments. The alternative media is owned by people who just want to tell the truth.

Alex Jones has interviewed members of Congress, fromer heads of the CIA, FBI, and high ranking members of the military. Despite this, Charlie Sheen may be the most credible person he has interviewed yet. Sheen is a man which many Americans recognize and identify with. His view on 911 could have a much larger impact on mainstream America than any member of Congress.

For many years, the government has been able to control people by controlling the flow of information. Everything that comes on television has been screened by the government and mass media to block anything of value from reaching the audience. By controlling what information reaches the people, the government effective creates the reality THEY want the people to see.

This is called mind control, and those who are familiar with the Matrix movies should understand what I'm talking about. The world we live in today parallels that of the world seen in Matrix, and is one of the reasons why the movie is so popular. The real reason why the Matrix became a box office hit is because it touches something deep inside the souls of every person who views the movie.

On a subconcious level, everyone knows the government is corrupt, and wishes to control us. Polls taken have demonstrated that at least 50% of New Yorkers believe 911 was an inside job. Over 80% of Americans believe John F. Kennedy was assassinated not by Lee Harvey Oswald acting alone, but was murdered by a vast conspiracy.

Despite this, never before in history has information been able to travel as fast as it moves today. The internet has become the 21st century version of the printing press which was invented by Johann Gutenberg centuries ago. It is changing the way we communicate, spread ideas, and earn money for our families. In a nutshell, it is the beginning of the second great Renaissance, the Enlightenment.

The Information Operations Roadmap should concern anyone who uses the internet as a true democratic tool to spread information. Truth and justice will ultimately prevail over corruption and lies. It is up to us, the people, to united together and stand up against our corrupt government, and rich powerful men who seek to enslave us. For too long have the elites kept the masses divided, keeping them in constant battle with each other.

Is a Problem Reaction Solution At Work Over The Shoshone Land Dispute?

I've heard about it a few times on the news, and I've decided to post an article in my blog about it. A dispute is currently taking place between the Shoshone Indian tribe and the United States government. At first glance many people assume that the result of this dispute is a victory, but upon careful observation it seems apparent that a problem reaction solution is at work.

For those of you who are not familiar with what a problem reaction solution is, it is simply a situation in which a certain party creates a problem, and then offers a prepackaged solution which suits their aims. The culprits in this dispute are not the Shoshone people, but rather the US government and the United Nations. The United Nations ruled that the US government was guilty of violating international anti-discrimination laws with regard to the Shoshone people. The US government claims they own the land on which the Shoshone lives, and has offered them money numerous times, which they have refused.

The Shoshone were so angry about this situation, that they took the dispute to the United Nations, which ruled in their favor. While the average activist sees this a being a major victory, others see it as a false fight between the UN and the US government, and false fight which sets up a precedent where the UN exercises power over the US government.

For those of you who have read this far, but still don't understand what I mean, keep reading. It is no secret that the UN is a tool the globalists use to push for world government. Their ultimate goal is to transfer power from the US government into the hands of the UN. Agents in our government are hard at work on this right now. If they get what they want, not only will the Shoshone lose their land, but so wil the rest of Americans.

Think about it. The Supreme court ruled last year for Eminent Domain, and now corporations can force you to sell your home so that they can build a casino or resort, and complete violation of the Constitution. Bush recently pushed for a plan to sell our ports to Dubai, and despite the claims that they backed down, Dubai is STILL the owner of the six port, but have tranferred power over to an American subsidiary, as was recently reported in Forbes.

In the late 1990s, Bill Clinton turned over the largest deep water port in southern California to China. Add to this the situation with the Shoshone Indian tribe, and you have overwhelming evidence that elements of the US government are attempting to turn over the land and other natural resources to large corporations, and they are using the UN as a tool.

This tells me that the fight between the UN and US government over the Shoshone land is staged, and they have succeeded, not in taking the land outright, but setting up a precedent which will allow the UN to get involved in the affairs of the US government in the future. Unless all Americans, including the Shoshone, fight back against this, the land of everyone in this country will be turned over to large governments and corporations.

Many people say the situation with the Shoshone is a victory. But it isn't really a victory for the Shoshone. It is a victory for the US government and the UN, who staged the fight so they could edge ever closer to their ultimate goals of a one world government.

The "Staged" Decline of Education In America

Americans are having a much harder time paying for education, and this trend doesn't appear to have an end in site. It was recently on the news that George W. Bush has just signed a bill increasing the amount of interest that will be paid on student loans. At the same time, he will reduce the amount of money available for grants.

It seems that in the future middle class Americans will have a harder time sending their children to college. If the current trend continues, the only way you will be able to go to school is by taking on enormous amounts of debt. With the rise of outsourcing, there is no guarantee that the job you are looking for will be available once you graduate.

This isn't an analogy. I've seen many engineers who went to school for many year, only to graduate and find that very few jobs were available. Many of these graduates owe tens of thousands in student loans, and will have to struggle working menial jobs to pay the off. But with the increase of both legal and illegal immigration in the United States, few employers will pay somone with advanced degrees large amounts of money when they can pay immigrants low wages. Because of this, many graduates are now being told that they are "overqualified," and can't even get a job at Walmart or Mcdonalds.

Despite this, I will list some things here you as a reader can do to help your children get an education without taking on a large amount of debt. No matter what the globalists do, there are ways to beat them:

1. Avoid going for degrees in fields that can easily be outsourced. Programming, Engineering, and IT jobs are being outsourced to India and China in record numbers. Getting a degree in this field could be career suicide. Jobs such as paralegals and medical jobs will stay in the US, and they will continue to grow for the next 10 years.

2. If you are a new parent, open up an IRA account for your child as soon as possible. You can place money in it, and the IRS can't tax it until the income is realized. Place as much money as you can in it on a monthly basis from the time the child is an infant until they are 18 years of age.

3.Send your children to private schools, or homeschool them. Avoid public schools at all costs. The government is not teaching children properly in the public school system, and they are consistently being "dumbed down." Statistics show that homeschooled kids make much higher scores than children trained in public schools on standardized tests.

3. Avoid student loans at all costs. They will take you years to pay off, and there is not guarantee you will get the dream job you want when you graduate from college. Remember, if you owe $20,000 on a student loan, you will have to pay it off before you can really begin earning money.

4. Consider being self employed. Starting your own business is a great way to be independent. You don't have to worry about competing for jobs with people living in third world countries, or illegal immigrants living in the US. You make your own hours, and you answer only to yourself.

These are a few of the tips I have. Learn how to think outside the box. A degree and education aren't the same things, though this is what the establishment would have you believe. You need to gain knowledge and education, but shouldn't have to go into debt to do so.

Why The "War on Drugs" is Failing.

Can you guess what the "war on drugs" and the "war on terror" have in common? The answer is easy. They are both escalating around the world, and in the US as well. Our government is not winning either of these wars, and they do not wish to win them. The reason for this is because the government started these wars in the first place.

Problem Reaction Solution is a phrase you must understand. It is defined as someone creating a problem, then offering a solution which suits their goals, a solution which they had set up to began with. This is how our government operates today. They create all sorts of problems, with the intention of offering their prepackaged solution.

Drug use is increasing at an alarming rate in the US. Every time I watch an episode of "Cops," someone is getting arrested by the police for having marijuana or other drugs on them. The United Nations reported that the global drug trade earns 300 billion dollars each year, much more than any corporation. What is really troubling about this statistic is that elements of the US government are heavily involved in the shipment of these drugs into the US.

Gary Webb, an investigative journalist, exposed the corruption of the CIA and how they were using cartels in Central America to distribute cocaine into Los Angeles. Cele Castillo, a former high ranking member of the DEA, also recently interviewed Alex Jones about the drug trade, and how drugs are carried into the US by our government.

But I know what some of you reading this are thinking. You are saying to yourself that the government and police make drug busts all the time, and appear to be doing their job. If you are thinking this, you need to realize that the world isn't as black and white as some people would have you believe. Yes, police do bust drug dealers, and cartels are sometimes brought down to.

However, the "real" reason street drug dealers are arrested and thrown in prison is because the government aren't getting paid a cut of the profits. What, did you actually think your government arrested drug dealers because they care about the community? Far from it. The government wants a piece of the global drug trade, and they have a bigger piece than any drug dealer on the planet.

The cartels are put in power by the government to produce the drugs, and these cartels must pay a cut to the CIA or the DEA. If they don't, you'll hear on the news that a cartel just got busted. It is the same as prostitution. The real reason prostitutes are arrested is not because they are immoral, but because they are making money under the table and are not paying taxes. Don't believe me? Look in the phone book of any major city and you will find high priced escort agencies. The only reason they aren't busted is because they pay their taxes.

The sad thing is, when you or your child get caught with drugs, you go to prison, while the people who built the prisons are the same people who bought the drugs into the country to begin with. Then you or your child are forced to build widgets for 20 cents an hour, competing with other Americans and costing them jobs.

The solution to this problem is simple. The answer is a complete legalization of all drugs. You may be reading this and think I'm crazy, but listen to my point. If drugs are legalized, that means the 300 billion dollar drug trade crashes under its own weight. I've never done any type of drugs in my life, but I believe if someone wants to take crack and kill themselves, let them.

Its better than the alternative. An alternative where the government cracks down on us all and works towards their goals of creating a police state, a prepackaged solution they have planned. When they say they are fighting a war on terror, expect more terror. When they say they are fighting a way on drugs, expect more drugs. This is the nature of the global elite, because they are the people who cause the problems in the first place.

As America Falls, India Rises

I watched a special today on Good Morning America about the rise of India, and how the country is becoming a global player in the world economy. As I watched the special, I found myself getting angry. I wasn't angry at the people of India. I wasn't angry about their success. But I'am angry at my government, and how the mass media portrays the whole thing.

Good Morning America tried to put a spin on the rise of India, and worked hard to convince Americans that outsourcing is beneficial, not harmful. They showed video clips of Indians answering phone calls and helping people in Texas pay their credit card bills. They showed Indian children playing happily in the street, and talked about how fast the Indian economy was rising.

But what Good Morning America "forgot" to mention was how at the same time India is rising, America is falling. Millions of Americans can't afford healthcare. Even more can't afford to go to college. Even those who graduate with technical degrees like engineering are finding that they are "over qualified", and are not able to find work at even menial jobs.

Despite what the so called "economic experts" may tell you, outsourcing DOES NOT, help the US economy, and it wasn't designed to. When high tech jobs go overseas, research and development goes overseas also. Once a country gets its hands on research and development, innovation is always quick to follow. Since India has many of the technical jobs, we can expect that innovation will be made in India, not America.

But there is an even bigger problem with outsourcing, something that corporate executives are too shortsighted to see. Once Indian understand how to build their own technology, why should they continue purchasing American made goods from American corporations? They will begin building their own companies with their own brands. And Indian people will choose these brands over American brands in general.

This means US companies which choose to outsource are slowly killing themselves with poison. Just like Japanese car companies have completely surpassed American car companies in sells, eventually Indian companies will also surpass the US with their brands. Once this happens, American corporations will crash and burn.

They will have to lay off more of their workers, which they've done in excess as of late. American won't be able to find jobs, because everything will be made in foreign countries, while these same countries which export to the US will not use American brands. This is what is destroying America. This is why the country will fall.

American will not fall through a invasion. America is going to fall economically. The stage has already been set. It is for that reason when I see a special on TV telling us about the rise of India, it makes me angry. Because America is being set up to fall by American corporations and our own government, and few Americans notice.

Iraq Heads Into A "Staged" Civil War.

In a few weeks it will be three years. Three years since the US invaded Iraq to bring them "democracy" and oust Saddam. I remember it like it was yesterday. I was in college at the time. It was all over the news and everyone was talking about it.

I remember a discussion which will forever reside in my mind. My history instructor wanted the class to discuss the war and their thoughts on it. I raised my hand and explained that Iraq would turn into another Vietnam, another pointless quagmire which will have no real effect on the average American in a positive way. As I expected, I was criticized by other students in the class, who felt I should support my country.

The fact of the matter is, I DO support my country. But I DON'T support a government which invades a country on false pretenses and slaughters innocent people. But even in 2003 I didn't know what I know now. Even then I didn't understand the true nature of the war.

But now I do. The war in Iraq is more than just a war for oil. It isn't that simple. It is war for global dominance. The plan for the US military was never to "free" the Iraqi people from Saddam or weapons of mass destruction. It was about dividing up the country into two factions, and getting them to slaughter each other.

Divide and conquer. It is the oldest trick in the book. Under P2OG elements of the US government made it clear that this was the plan. Turn the Middle East into the Balkans, and then use it as a launch pad to invade Iran and other nations. Many of the killing and bombings which are taking place in Iraq are not the work of insurgents, but undercover intelligence agencies. Last year British SAS officers were caught dressed up like Arabs shooting police.

Americans have been duped once again. How long will we allow corrupt rich men to get into the white house and get us involved in these charades? When will Americans stand up? The globalists are pushing forward with their plan, doing exactly what they set out to do. Their goal is world domination, and once they have people fighting with each other, it will be easier to accomplish than ever

Analysis of Bush UAE Port Deal

Last week I almost laughed when I watched the news and found out that George W. Bush wants to turn over our ports to a Arab run company. I was slightly surprised. But I shouldn't have been.

This latest episode from Bush has been going on for quite some time. Bill Clinton allowed the largest US port in southern California to be handed over to the Chinese in the late 1990s. Now Bush wants to do the same. The plan of the globalists is to hand over the infrastructure and resources of the US to large corporations.

There is a name which is used to describe the UAE port deal that Bush is pushing for. It can be described using one word. That word is "fascism." When large corporations dictate government policy. This is exactly the situation we see right now. A blatant display of fascism by our own president. But then again, Bush has handed so much power to corporations since he entered the white house that Americans shouldn't be surprised by this news.

In reality, Americans are being distracted from more important issues. The issue with Iran is far from over, and China is a much larger threat than the United Arab Emirates will ever be. Americans should be outraged over the situation which occured in southern California, but you hear nothing about this on the news.

Even more, the shipments coming into the US via these ports are not being thoroughly expect, which sets up the stage for weapons or other dangrous items to be shipped into the country.

When I talk to some Americans about this, they tell me I'm racist against the Arabs and that Bush wants to better the relations. I always tell them that they are being brainwashed. If the Bush administration wanted to "better the relations" in the Middle East, why are they planning on bombing Iran which would cause a complete collapse in relations between the US and Middle East?

Doesn't make much sense, unless you understand that Bush and his father stand to gain millions from the port deal. Why else would he push for it. I can't confirm it, but no doubt the Carlyle Group has their hands in this . I know they have a foothold in Saudi Arabia, and may have influence in United Arab Emirates as well. If this is the case, this entire port deal makes perfect sense.

When it won't need a tyranny to deprive us of our freedom

The creeping extension of implantation technology will eventually break down all the barriers between us and the state .

It received just a few column inches in a couple of papers, but the story I read last week looks to me like a glimpse of the future. A company in Ohio called City-Watcher has implanted radio transmitters into the arms of two of its workers. The implants ensure that only they can enter the strongroom. Apparently it is "the first known case in which US workers have been tagged electronically as a way of identifying them".

The transmitters are tiny (about the size of a grain of rice), cheap (£85 and falling fast), safe and stable. Without being maintained or replaced, they can identify someone for many years. They are injected, with a local anaesthetic, into the upper arm. They require no power source, as they become active only when scanned. There are no technical barriers to their wider deployment.
The company that makes these "radio frequency identification tags", the VeriChip Corporation, says they "combine access control with the location and protection of individuals". The chips can also be implanted in hospital patients, especially children and people who are mentally ill. When doctors want to know who they are and what their medical history is, they simply scan them in. This, apparently, is "an empowering option to affected individuals". For a while, a school in California toyed with the idea of implanting the chips in all its pupils.

A tag such as this has a maximum range of a few metres. But another implantable device emits a signal that allows someone to be found or tracked by satellite. The patent notice says it can be used to locate the victims of kidnapping or people lost in the wilderness. There are, in other words, plenty of legitimate uses for implanted chips. This is why they bother me. A technology whose widespread deployment, if attempted now, would be greeted with horror, will gradually become unremarkable. As this happens, its purpose will begin to creep.

At first the tags will be more widely used for workers with special security clearance. No one will be forced to wear one; no one will object. Then hospitals - and a few in the US are already doing this - will start scanning their unconscious or incoherent patients to see whether they have a tag. Insurance companies might start to demand that vulnerable people are chipped.

The armed forces will discover that they are more useful than dog tags for identifying injured soldiers or for tracking troops who are lost or have been captured by the enemy. Prisons will soon come to the same conclusion. Then sweatshops in developing countries will begin to catch on. Already the overseers seek to control their workers to the second; determining when they clock on, when they visit the toilet, even the number of hand movements they perform. A chip makes all this easier. The workers will not be forced to have them, any more than they are forced to have sex with their bosses; but if they don't accept the conditions, they don't get the job. After that, it surely won't be long before asylum seekers are confronted with a similar choice: you don't have to accept an implant, but if you refuse, you can't stay in the country.

I think it will probably stop there. I don't believe that you or I or most comfortable, mentally competent people will be forced to wear a tag. But itwill become an increasingly acceptable means of tracking and identifying people who could be a danger to themselves, or who could be at risk of sudden illness or disappearance, or who are otherwise hard for companies or governments to control. They will, on the whole, be people whose political voice is muted.

As it is with all such intrusions on our privacy, it won't be easy to put your finger on exactly what's wrong with this technology. It won't really amount to a new form of control, as all the people who accept the implants will already be subject to monitoring or tracking of one kind or another. It will always be voluntary, at least to the extent that anything the state or our employers want us to do is voluntary. But there is something utterly revolting about it. It is another means by which the barriers between ourselves and the state, ourselves and the corporation, ourselves and the machine are broken down. In that tiny capsule we find the paradox of 21st-century capitalism: a political system that celebrates choice, autonomy and individualism above all other virtues demands that choice, autonomy and individualism are perpetually suppressed.

While implanted chips will not lead to the mass scanning of the population, another use of the same technology quite possibly will. At the end of last month, a leaked letter from Andy Burnham, the Home Office minister, revealed that the identity cards for which we will involuntarily volunteer will contain radio frequency identification chips. This will allow the authorities to read the cards with a scanner. I propose that as the technology improves, the police will be able to scan a crowd and (assuming everyone is carrying his voluntary-compulsory ID card) produce a list of whom it contains. I further propose that it will take only a year or two for this to seem reasonable.

Already we have become used to the police filming demonstrations for the same purpose. When they started doing it, about 10 years ago, it caused outrage. It gave us the impression that by protesting we became suspects. But now we don't even notice them: even to the extent of waving and shouting, "Hello, Mum". Like every other intrusion on our privacy, they have become normal.

I also propose that the mass scanning these identification chips will allow will be assisted by another kind of surveillance technology. Last week, campaigners in west Wales obtained a letter sent by the Welsh Development Agency to Ceredigion County Council. It revealed that the agency, with the help of the European Union, is setting up an industrial estate outside Aberystwyth. Its purpose is the "market acceleration" of unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs). With the help of companies such as BAE Systems, Rolls-Royce and our new friend Qinetiq, the agency hopes to find the best way of encouraging the "routine operation of UAV systems UK-wide". Ceredigion council's website lists various functions of the UAVs, of which the first is "law enforcement".

So the police won't even have to be there. Someone sitting in a control room could fly a tiny drone (some of them are just a few inches across) equipped with a receiver over the heads of a crowd and, with the help of our new identity cards, determine who's there. It sounds quite mad, just as the idea of biometric identity cards in the UK once did. All these new technologies somehow contrive to seem both wildly implausible and entirely likely.

There will be no dramatic developments. We will not step out of our homes one morning to discover that the state, or our boss, or our insurance company, knows everything about us. But, if the muted response to the ID card is anything to go by, we will gradually submit, in the name of our own protection, to the demands of the machine. And it will not then require a tyrannical new government to deprive us of our freedom. Step by voluntary step, we will have given it up already.

Chavez tells Rice: ‘Don’t mess with me, girl’

CARACAS, Venezuela - Venezuelan President Hugo Chavez Sunday warned Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice not to “mess with” him days after Rice described Venezuela as a menace to regional democracy in the midst of tense diplomatic relations between the two countries.

“Don’t mess with me Condoleezza. Don’t mess with me, girl,” Chavez said during his weekly Sunday broadcast, sarcastically offering her a kiss and jokingly referring to her as “Condolence.”

The warning comes days after Rice described Venezuela as one of the “biggest problems” for the Western Hemisphere and promised to develop regional alliances as part of an “inoculation” strategy to expose what the State Department calls anti-democratic behavior in Venezuela.

Chavez has repeatedly accused Washington of trying to topple him, and says the United States will attempt to sow chaos this year as he launches a re-election bid.

Diplomatic relations between the United States and Venezuela, the world’s No. 5 oil exporter, have been strained since Chavez accused the United States of plotting a coup d’etat that briefly ousted him in 2002.

Chavez, a former soldier turned populist leader, has promised to create socialist revolution in Venezuela and promote regional integration in Latin America to roll back U.S.-supported economic reforms.

The State Department says Chavez is using the nation’s bountiful oil wealth to meddle in the affairs of neighboring countries, and has slammed him for boosting ties to U.S. foes like Cuba and Iran.

Tensions between Washington and Caracas increased in February after Chavez expelled a U.S. naval attache for alleged espionage. The State Department responded by expelling a top Venezuelan diplomat.

I am disgusted by this story dominating headlines while the Straussian neocons—who run roughshod over the Constitution in dictatorial fashion through their cardboard cut-out, brain damaged, unelected president—methodically plan to attack another sovereign nation and kill hundreds of thousands of people, poison millions of innocent others with depleted uranium, destroy and loot more antiquities, deliberately wreck hospitals, electrical plants and water and sewage treatment facilities, the same way they did in Iraq.

Harry Whittington’s gunshot wounds are nothing compared to the distinct possibility the Straussian neocons may use nuclear weapons against the people of Iran—and down the road, against other official enemies, numbering in the billions (according to the “heavy-lifter” Straussian neocon Frank Gaffney, these enemies include the people of China, Russia, and “anti-American” countries in Latin America, in other words Latin American countries that have rejected neoliberalism and are sick and tired of globalist bankers and multinational carpetbaggers stealing their natural resources and impoverishing their people).

Katherine Brengle documents how Cheney considers himself above the law, bird hunting without proper legal documentation. For some reason we are supposed to be upset about this. Meanwhile, right out in the open and yet ignored, there is a bundle of damning evidence that makes the Cheney hunting incident pale by way of comparison: Cheney the scurrilous war profiteer, his advocacy of the use of torture by the CIA, Powell’s chief of staff Lawrence Wilkerson’s accusations that Cheney disdainfully violated the Geneva Conventions.

Cheney’s war crimes have besmirched the public record for over a decade and a half—it was Cheney, as Secretary of War in the Bush Senior administration, who engineered and instigated a 43-day bombing campaign against Iraq (the most devastating concentrated bombing attack in history at the time), a blitzkrieg that targeted Iraqi electrical, water, and sewage treatment systems, resulting in massive civilian casualties, especially children, the elderly, and the sick, in short the most vulnerable of Iraqi society, a particularly horrendous war crime.

“So, what did Cheney have to say about these choices of targets after the war, when there was no way to deny the deadly effects on civilians?” asked Robert Jensen, writing for the Fort Worth Star-Telegram. “Every Iraqi target was ‘perfectly legitimate,’ … adding ‘if I had to do it over again, I would do exactly the same thing.’” In short, Cheney is not only a war criminal, he is an unrepentant war criminal, an anti-human sociopath who brags about his serial murdering exploits. All of this is scrupulously avoided in the corporate media.

Meanwhile, Straussian neocon provocations, far more worthy of headlines and analysis, are relegated below the fold.

An Australian TV show has revealed “terrible photographs” of Abu Ghraib prisoner abuse, “bloodier and more sexually charged than the originals” (if you wish to stomach such sadism, follow this Rolling Stone link and watch a video montage).

It is hardly a coincidence these new photos were released as “rioting erupted … as tens of thousands of people took to the streets in Pakistan’s third straight day of violent protests over the Prophet Muhammad cartoons. Three people were killed, including an 8-year-old boy,” according to ABC News. As suspected, these riots are well organized, although specifics are absent (asking the question “who benefits” usually settles the issue). “An Associated Press reporter in Lahore saw crowd members who appeared to be orchestrating the attacks, directing protesters—some of whom were carrying containers of kerosene—toward particular targets. The demonstrators also set the provincial government assembly building on fire,” Asif Shahzad writes for the Chicago Sun Times.

Speaking of kerosene and fires—at least in a metaphorical sense—Roberto Calderoli, Italian Reforms Minister and member of the neocon friendly Lega Nord (Northern League), has declared his intention “to wear a T-shirt sporting cartoons of the Prophet Muhammad that have sparked violent reactions from Muslims around the world,” reports the Mail & Guardian, thus inflaming Muslim anger even more.

It now appears there is a possibility Cheney may be charged with criminal “negligence, defined as failing to understand the dangers involved and disregarding them, or recklessness, defined as understanding the dangers and disregarding them” if Whittington dies from injuries sustained in the so-called hunting mishap, according to the New York Times.

Shooting Whittington, of course, is the least of Cheney’s crimes, and if indeed justice prevailed in the world he would be immediately arrested for the above enumerated crimes, tried before a jury of his peers, convicted like Nazi war criminals of yore, allowed a one appeal, and then marched to the gallows. Of course, this will not happen, not any more than he will suffer serious consequence from the criminal negligence of shooting Harry M. Whittington at close range with bird shot.

Last week the Bureau of Labor Statistics re-benchmarked the payroll jobs data back to 2000. Thanks to Charles McMillion of MBG Information Services, I have the adjusted data from January 2001 through January 2006. If you are worried about terrorists, you don’t know what worry is.

Job growth over the last five years is the weakest on record. The US economy came up more than 7 million jobs short of keeping up with population growth. That’s one good reason for controlling immigration. An economy that cannot keep up with population growth should not be boosting population with heavy rates of legal and illegal immigration.

Over the past five years the US economy experienced a net job loss in goods producing activities. The entire job growth was in service-providing activities--primarily credit intermediation, health care and social assistance, waiters, waitresses and bartenders, and state and local government.

US manufacturing lost 2.9 million jobs, almost 17% of the manufacturing work force. The wipeout is across the board. Not a single manufacturing payroll classification created a single new job.

The declines in some manufacturing sectors have more in common with a country undergoing saturation bombing during war than with a super-economy that is “the envy of the world.” Communications equipment lost 43% of its workforce. Semiconductors and electronic components lost 37% of its workforce. The workforce in computers and electronic products declined 30%. Electrical equipment and appliances lost 25% of its employees. The workforce in motor vehicles and parts declined 12%. Furniture and related products lost 17% of its jobs. Apparel manufacturers lost almost half of the work force. Employment in textile mills declined 43%. Paper and paper products lost one-fifth of its jobs. The work force in plastics and rubber products declined by 15%. Even manufacturers of beverages and tobacco products experienced a 7% shrinkage in jobs.

The knowledge jobs that were supposed to take the place of lost manufacturing jobs in the globalized “new economy” never appeared. The information sector lost 17% of its jobs, with the telecommunications work force declining by 25%. Even wholesale and retail trade lost jobs. Despite massive new accounting burdens imposed by Sarbanes-Oxley, accounting and bookkeeping employment shrank by 4%. Computer systems design and related lost 9% of its jobs. Today there are 209,000 fewer managerial and supervisory jobs than 5 years ago.

In five years the US economy only created 70,000 jobs in architecture and engineering, many of which are clerical. Little wonder engineering enrollments are shrinking. There are no jobs for graduates. The talk about engineering shortages is absolute ignorance. There are several hundred thousand American engineers who are unemployed and have been for years. No student wants a degree that is nothing but a ticket to a soup line. Many engineers have written to me that they cannot even get Wal-Mart jobs because their education makes them over-qualified.

Offshore outsourcing and offshore production have left the US awash with unemployment among the highly educated. The low measured rate of unemployment does not include discouraged workers. Labor arbitrage has made the unemployment rate less and less a meaningful indicator. In the past unemployment resulted mainly from turnover in the labor force and recession. Recoveries pulled people back into jobs.

Unemployment benefits were intended to help people over the down time in the cycle when workers were laid off. Today the unemployment is permanent as entire occupations and industries are wiped out by labor arbitrage as corporations replace their American employees with foreign ones.

Economists who look beyond political press releases estimate the US unemployment rate to be between 7% and 8.5%. There are now hundreds of thousands of Americans who will never recover their investment in their university education.

Unless the BLS is falsifying the data or businesses are reporting the opposite of the facts, the US is experiencing a job depression. Most economists refuse to acknowledge the facts, because they endorsed globalization. It was a win-win situation, they said.

They were wrong.

At a time when America desperately needs the voices of educated people as a counterweight to the disinformation that emanates from the Bush administration and its supporters, economists have discredited themselves. This is especially true for “free market economists” who foolishly assumed that international labor arbitrage was an example of free trade that was benefitting Americans. Where is the benefit when employment in US export industries and import-competitive industries is shrinking? After decades of struggle to regain credibility, free market economics is on the verge of another wipeout.

No sane economist can possibly maintain that a deplorable record of merely 1,054,000 net new private sector jobs over five years is an indication of a healthy economy. The total number of private sector jobs created over the five year period is 500,000 jobs less than one year’s legal and illegal immigration! (In a December 2005 Center for Immigration Studies report based on the Census Bureau’s March 2005 Current Population Survey, Steven Camarota writes that there were 7,9 million new immigrants between January 2000 and March 2005.)

The economics profession has failed America. It touts a meaningless number while joblessness soars. Lazy journalists at the New York Times simply rewrite the Bush administration’s press releases.

On February 10 the Commerce Department released a record US trade deficit in goods and services for 2005--$726 billion. The US deficit in Advanced Technology Products reached a new high. Offshore production for home markets and jobs outsourcing has made the US highly dependent on foreign provided goods and services, while simultaneously reducing the export capability of the US economy. It is possible that there might be no exchange rate at which the US can balance its trade.

Polls indicate that the Bush administration is succeeding in whipping up fear and hysteria about Iran. The secretary of defense is promising Americans decades-long war. Is death in battle Bush’s solution to the job depression? Will Asians finance a decades-long war for a bankrupt country?

Muslims Riot Over Cartoon of Muhammad: They are being fooled by the Globalists

Just about everyone has heard about the violence sparked in the middle east and elsewhere over the cartoon of the prophet Muhammad which was shown in a Danish Newspaper. Here at the Conspiracy Zone I want to explain why this is a divide and conquer tactic used by the globalists to worsen relations between the West and Middle East.

It is the oldest trick in the book. Get people of different ethnic groups fighting with each other so that you can conquer them both. The Muslims who reacted violently to the cartoon of Muhammad have been duped. So have many people in the US and Europe.

Both sides are being played like a fiddle by the elite. The Muslims were expected to react violently to the cartoon, and they did. This has allowed people in the US and Europe to be able to say that Muslims are insane and dangerous.

This will allow less restraint in allowing the Bush administration to push forward with their attack on Iran, a move which could turn into a disaster. Both westerners and muslims are being fooled by this whole situation.

Then the mainstream news stations add fuel to the fire, talking about the issue and demonizing the Muslims for the way they have reacted. When you talk to most American, they point the finger at the Muslims.

When you talk to most muslims, they point the finger at the West. But what neither realize is that the problem is being instigated by the globalists, a group of people who hide in the shadows and cause so much chaos and misery in the world. Only after understanding this will both sides be able to live in peace.

If the Muslims had reacted to the cartoon in a peaceful manner, the elite would not have got what they wanted. They should have responded the way Martin Luther King, or Gandhi would have responded. Instead, they caused riots, they have given the elite exactly what they want.

US Savings Rate at Lowest Level Since 1933

America is headed toward another Great Depression. A depression that will dwarf anything that Americans experienced in 1929. An article was recently placed on yahoo news about Americans saving on average the lowest amount since 1933, when the great depression was in full throttle.

The article went on to say that as of the end of 2005, Americans fell into a -0.5 percent savings rate. This means that most people here in the US are spending all of their income after taxes. This is a dangerous trend since at least 78 million Americans are baby boomers getting ready to retire.

The fact that most Americans are not saving can only mean one thing. It means that many people are either living paycheck to paycheck, swamped with bills and monthly debt payments, or simply living below the poverty line. It is already a fact that the average American owes eight thousand dollars in debt.

The country as a whole owes trillions, and the Chinese banks ran an article last month saying that they may soon have to begin dumping the dollar. Yet the average American is clueless. They spend all of their money, buying gadgets and cars that have no value after they've been purchase.

They run up huge debts, while more and more big corporations lay off workers and send jobs to India and China. Add to this the problem of both legal and illegal immigration, in which many illegals aren't paying taxes and are working under the table, leaving natural born American citizens huge tax payments to make.

The problems that the US is facing will only continue to get worse. As more and more illegal immigrants pour into the US, big companies will rush to hire them for low wages and no health insurance benefits, saving themselves millions of dollars while costing Americans jobs and making illegals perpetually slaves.

The illegal immigrants, while making more money in the US than they would at home, will begin taking on huge amounts of debts to pay for homes, cars, and other goods which they will not be able to afford on their low wages. Because of this big corporations will maximize profits, and the middle class will effectively be destroyed.

US plans to 'fight the net' revealed

A newly declassified document gives a fascinating glimpse into the US military's plans for "information operations" - from psychological operations, to attacks on hostile computer networks.

Bloggers beware.

As the world turns networked, the Pentagon is calculating the military opportunities that computer networks, wireless technologies and the modern media offer.

From influencing public opinion through new media to designing "computer network attack" weapons, the US military is learning to fight an electronic war.

The declassified document is called "Information Operations Roadmap". It was obtained by the National Security Archive at George Washington University using the Freedom of Information Act.

Officials in the Pentagon wrote it in 2003. The Secretary of Defense, Donald Rumsfeld, signed it.

The "roadmap" calls for a far-reaching overhaul of the military's ability to conduct information operations and electronic warfare. And, in some detail, it makes recommendations for how the US armed forces should think about this new, virtual warfare.

The document says that information is "critical to military success". Computer and telecommunications networks are of vital operational importance.

Propaganda

The operations described in the document include a surprising range of military activities: public affairs officers who brief journalists, psychological operations troops who try to manipulate the thoughts and beliefs of an enemy, computer network attack specialists who seek to destroy enemy networks.

All these are engaged in information operations.

Perhaps the most startling aspect of the roadmap is its acknowledgement that information put out as part of the military's psychological operations, or Psyops, is finding its way onto the computer and television screens of ordinary Americans.

"Information intended for foreign audiences, including public diplomacy and Psyops, is increasingly consumed by our domestic audience," it reads.

"Psyops messages will often be replayed by the news media for much larger audiences, including the American public," it goes on.

The document's authors acknowledge that American news media should not unwittingly broadcast military propaganda. "Specific boundaries should be established," they write. But they don't seem to explain how.

"In this day and age it is impossible to prevent stories that are fed abroad as part of psychological operations propaganda from blowing back into the United States - even though they were directed abroad," says Kristin Adair of the National Security Archive.

Credibility problem

Public awareness of the US military's information operations is low, but it's growing - thanks to some operational clumsiness.
Late last year, it emerged that the Pentagon had paid a private company, the Lincoln Group, to plant hundreds of stories in Iraqi newspapers. The stories - all supportive of US policy - were written by military personnel and then placed in Iraqi publications.

And websites that appeared to be information sites on the politics of Africa and the Balkans were found to be run by the Pentagon.

But the true extent of the Pentagon's information operations, how they work, who they're aimed at, and at what point they turn from informing the public to influencing populations, is far from clear.

The roadmap, however, gives a flavour of what the US military is up to - and the grand scale on which it's thinking.

It reveals that Psyops personnel "support" the American government's international broadcasting. It singles out TV Marti - a station which broadcasts to Cuba - as receiving such support.

It recommends that a global website be established that supports America's strategic objectives. But no American diplomats here, thank you. The website would use content from "third parties with greater credibility to foreign audiences than US officials".

It also recommends that Psyops personnel should consider a range of technologies to disseminate propaganda in enemy territory: unmanned aerial vehicles, "miniaturized, scatterable public address systems", wireless devices, cellular phones and the internet.

'Fight the net'

When it describes plans for electronic warfare, or EW, the document takes on an extraordinary tone.

It seems to see the internet as being equivalent to an enemy weapons system.

"Strategy should be based on the premise that the Department [of Defense] will 'fight the net' as it would an enemy weapons system," it reads.

The slogan "fight the net" appears several times throughout the roadmap.

The authors warn that US networks are very vulnerable to attack by hackers, enemies seeking to disable them, or spies looking for intelligence.

"Networks are growing faster than we can defend them... Attack sophistication is increasing... Number of events is increasing."

US digital ambition

And, in a grand finale, the document recommends that the United States should seek the ability to "provide maximum control of the entire electromagnetic spectrum".

US forces should be able to "disrupt or destroy the full spectrum of globally emerging communications systems, sensors, and weapons systems dependent on the electromagnetic spectrum".

Consider that for a moment.

The US military seeks the capability to knock out every telephone, every networked computer, every radar system on the planet.

Are these plans the pipe dreams of self-aggrandising bureaucrats? Or are they real?

The fact that the "Information Operations Roadmap" is approved by the Secretary of Defense suggests that these plans are taken very seriously indeed in the Pentagon.

And that the scale and grandeur of the digital revolution is matched only by the US military's ambitions for it.

The US Military is Arresting Women In Iraq Because Their Husbands "May" Be Insurgents?

The latest news this week that US military authorities in Iraq are arresting Iraqi women and imprisoning them shouldn't surprise anyone. The idea is that the women's husbands "might" be insurgents. What the news forgot to tell you is that not only are they imprisoning Iraqi women, but they are torturing them and their children also. But most Americans will never know this.

This is coming from a government who supposedly says it wants to bring "freedom" and "democracy" to Iraq. How do you bring democracy to a country by imprisoning their citizens when they're not guilty? What is democratic about that?

The answer is that the US has no plans of bringing freedom to Iraq. The news revealed this week is only the tip of the iceberg. Torture in Iraq is rampant, as the Abu Ghraib scandal shows us. This is something that should make every American outraged and we should be demanding from our government why this practice continues.

But most Americans either not listening or simply don't care. American Idol is coming on tv tonight, and they don't have time to worry about the suffering that their own military is inflicting on people in another country. Even worse, many people believe it is a great thing to do.

Those who believe these things are too stupid to realize that a government who does this to the citizens of another country will do that here in American to all citizens. People have forgot about history. People have forgot about how the government placed Japanese Americans in internment camps during World War 2 and how the supreme court once ruled that Blacks weren't human.

It never ceases to amaze me how quickly people forget history. But one thing I've learned is history almost always repeat itself, and the same people who allowed Americans to be hurt then are still in power today. Most people aren't going to figure it out until its too late.

The criminal conspiracy that destroys America

Sadly, the President of the United States is a criminal. In fact, he should be arrested, tried and sentenced to life in prison as a repeat offender.

He is a war criminal who led this nation into an illegal conflict based on lies. His criminal conduct in the invasion of Iraq has led to the deaths of more than 2,000 American military men and women and countless thousands of Iraqi civilians.

He ripped the Constitution to shreds, ordering the National Security Agency, the Pentagon and other government agencies to spy on American citizens.

His administration trampled basic American freedoms, creating a police state through the Gestapo tactics of the Department of Homeland Security and the rights-robbing USA Patriot Act.

He lied to the American people about his close relationship with corrupt GOP lobbyist Jack Abramoff, claiming he didn’t know the man who raised more than $100,000 for his campaign and visited the White House more than 200 times in his first year in office as well as trips to the ranch in Crawford, Texas.

He ordered the Environmental Protection Agency to withhold information about dangerous toxins dumped into the air over Manhattan when terrorists destroyed the World Trade Center.

His vice president met secretly with the CEOs of America’s top energy companies, cutting deals that gave those companies record profits while ripping off consumers at the gas pump.

Bush’s crimes against the Constitution and the American people began the day he took office and continue today. Each day brings new revelations of abuse of power, evasion of the law and disregard for basic rights of privacy.

Under Bush’s watch, the fears of George Orwell became all too real. The NSA routinely monitors phone calls of American citizens. The Defense Advance Research Projects Agency tracks routine travel and financial activities of Americans. The Pentagon sends infiltrators to spy on groups whose only crime is disagreement with the Iraq war or the other Draconian actions of the Bush administration.

America is now a totalitarian state ruled by a fascist dictator who hides behind phony claims that he is a “wartime president” who must usurp the Constitution to protect us from ourselves. Ironically, the “wartime president” is, in reality, a coward who hid out in the Texas Air National Guard to avoid his own service in wartime, a cardboard cowboy who sends others to die while he hides behind a legion of Secret Service agents who no doubt gag at the thought of taking a bullet for such a pathetic excuse for a leader.

But who protects us from the real enemy of freedom? That enemy resides at 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue, backed by a party that puts partisanship above patriotism, power above freedom and political expediency above justice.

I’ve come to the sad conclusion that the President of the United States is a madman, a raving lunatic driven by an insane lust for power, given to frequent outbursts of temper and out-of-control tantrums.

Bush has plunged this nation into a deepening Constitutional crisis, one that demands immediate action if we are to save what was once a great nation.

The last President to precipitate such a crisis, Richard M. Nixon, failed to destroy this nation because Congress, led by an opposition party, stepped up and took the actions necessary. But today’s Congress is ruled by criminally-complicit thugs who share Bush’s fanatical views.

Together, Bush and his Republican cronies in Congress have led America to ruin. Unfortunately, too many in this country have sat on their asses and let it happen.

Is this part of a vetting process to try and identify the next generation of political dissidents or is it simply an assessment of how deep the alternative truth movement has penetrated the mass collective unconscious?

The exam took place in West Yorkshire England and in the first question, the student was asked to discuss the possibility of governments leading populations into believing facts that are not necessarily true. The source given was an individual who presented an alternative explanation behind 9/11.

Other questions centered around how much the student trusted Tony Blair and George W. Bush.

After the exam ended, the student was taken aside by the head of the exam board and asked if he she had spoken about the content with any other students (who as it turned out had taken a different exam with different questions). Upon denial, the student was told that if she kept it quiet then the exam board would look favorably upon her and give her a good grade.

Late last month we highlighted a case in Washington State where 10th grade students were given 'patriotism tests' that evaluated their faith in the state.

Why are education boards choosing this material? Are they taking orders from a fearful establishment who are keen to measure how far alternative perspectives on modern day events and how they affect the balance between the citizen and the state have perforated societal norms?

In any case, the very fact that such material finds its way into school exams is a good indication of how much reach and influence the alternative media now enjoys in popular culture.

Russian General: Nine Eleven a Globalist Inside Job

It’s ironic General Leonid Ivashov, former Chief of Staff of the Russian armed forces, delivers the truth on globalism and this truth, unavailable in the corporate media of the “free world,” is published in a newspaper in Las Tunas, Cuba. Ivashov tells us so-called international terrorism “is not something independent of world politics but simply an instrument, a means to install a unipolar world with a sole world headquarters, a pretext to erase national borders and to establish the rule of a new world elite” and “is a phenomenon that combines the use of terror by state and non-state political structures as a means to attain their political objectives through people’s intimidation, psychological and social destabilization, the elimination of resistance from power organizations and the creation of appropriate conditions for the manipulation of the countries’ policies and the behavior of people.”

Ivashov hits the nail square on the head. “The organizers of [the nine eleven] attacks were the political and business circles interested in destabilizing the world order” because they “were not satisfied with the rhythm of the globalization process or its direction.” As others have explained—most notably Andreas von Bulow, Bundestag member of a parliamentary commission which oversaw the three branches of the German secret service—only “secret services and their current chiefs” (or retired staff with “influence inside the state organizations”) have the “ability to plan, organize and conduct an operation of such magnitude. Generally, secret services create, finance and control extremist organizations. Without the support of secret services, these organizations cannot exist—let alone carry out operations of such magnitude inside countries so well protected.” Thus the obvious patsy “Osama bin Laden and ‘Al Qaeda’ cannot be the organizers or the performers of the September 11 attacks” because they “do not have the necessary organization, resources or leaders” (or the military and intelligence experience and knowledge required). Instead, “a team of professionals had to be created and the Arab kamikazes are just extras to mask the operation.”

According to General Ivashov, the covert operation nine eleven was effective because it turned “the people’s demands to a struggle of undefined goals against an invisible enemy … destroying basic international norms and changing concepts such as: aggression, state terror, dictatorship or movement of national liberation” and also depriving “peoples of their legitimate right to fight against aggressions and to reject the work of foreign intelligence services.”

Here in America and likely much of Europe, General Ivashov’s message is all but invisible, since the corporate media assiduously ignores any discussion of nine eleven that does not take the fantastical Straussian neocon version of events as gospel truth. As an example of this, run a Google News search on General Ivashov—it will return the sole link to the Cuban newspaper above, peroid.

In order to combat the globalist agenda to reduce the planet to a “free trade” gulag, General Ivashov suggests the creation of “a geo-strategic organization (perhaps inspired in the Cooperation Organization of Shanghai comprised of Russia, China, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Kyrgyzstan and Tajikistan) with a set of values different to that of the Atlantists,” that is to say the neolib-neocon faction (in Russia, many political analysts call defenders of “unipolar globalism” Atlantists, or as A. Dugin of the International Eurasian Movement describes it, “strategists of the Western civilization and their conscious supporters in other parts of the planet, aiming at putting the whole world under control and imposing the social, economic and cultural stereotypes typical of the Western civilization to all the rest of mankind…. The atlantists are the builders of the ‘new world order’—the unprecedented world system benefiting an absolute minority of the planet’s population”).

If General Ivashov’s vision of a “geo-strategic organization” comes to pass, it will mean “total war” under the absolutist and demented neocon rubric, since the Straussian neocons, as elucidated in their principle PNAC document, will not tolerate “competitors” and will respond in drastic fashion, more than likely with nuclear weapons (as they appear likely to do under far less provocation in Iran).

The only way to stop this impending nuclear conflagration is to dethrone the Straussian neocons—and soon.

In the meantime, I am wishing for a pony.

Mayor Ray Nagin: A Great Puppet For The Globalists

Right after Hurricane Katrina hit New Orleans, Mayor Ray Nagin got on tv and told the US government they should be ashamed of themselves for letting the city go without aid for so long. Well, after the comments made this week by Ray Nagin, he should be ashamed of himself.

The comments Ray Nagin gave this week have given him a reputation, at least in my book, of being the most worthless mayor in America. His comments have angered both Blacks and Whites, and with good reason. What I want to do for my last blog entry of the week is post Ray Nagin's comments here, and our responses here at The Conspiracy Zone.

Ray Nagin - "Surely God is mad at America. He sent us hurricane after hurricane after hurricane, and it's destroyed and put stress on this country....Surely he doesn't approve of us being in Iraq under false pretenses. But surely he is upset at black America also. We're not taking care of ourselves."

Conspiracy Zone - Ray, there is no way to scientifically prove that God sent us hurricanes because he is mad at us. Hurricanes happen every year, and every so often, it has been SCIENTIFICALLY proven that the planet enters a stage where we have more powerful hurricanes than usual. President Bush believes that God wanted the US to invade Iraq, but you're saying he is mad at us because we did so? So which is it? And why exactly is God mad at African Americans? Aren't there not whites and people of other races who are "not taking care of themselves?" Why is God so selective?

Ray Nagin - "I can see in your eyes, you want to know, 'How do I take advantage of this incredible opportunity? How do I make sure New Orleans is not overrun with Mexican workers?'"

Conspiracy Zone - Ray, this comment just shows that you are a racist. You talk about Martin Luther King, yet King said that "all men are created equal." This includes hispanics and whites. Your comment just shows you are a hypocrite, and will increase animosity between blacks and hispanics, which the globalists and government want.

Ray Nagin - "This city will be a majority African-American city. It's the way God wants it to be."

Conspiracy Zone - You are saying that you know the mind of God? If you are, you must be saying God is a racist, because saying that a city is supposed to have only one race of people is a racist comment. It also hurts the comparisons your comments made with Martin Luther King.

Based on Nagin's comments, and his handling of hurricane Katrina, we here at the Conspiracy Zone have come to the conclusion that he is a puppet of the globalists. He helps keep races of people divided by his comments, and just shows that his a a mere "puppet" mayor who is put in his position by the government to appease the blacks in New Orleans. He has no real power.

Whether he is acting in this way intentionally, we do not know. But what we do know is that he is making the globalists very happy with both his comments and policies.

Iran Attack: No Way Back Now

As now appears obvious, the Straussian neocons will attack Iran, sooner before later. Secretary of State Condi Rice indicated as much when she said, “there’s not much to talk about” until Iran promises to stop working on a nuclear weapon, never mind that—as Mike Whitney, citing nuclear weapons expert Gordon Prather, points out—Iran is not working on a nuclear weapon. History is a harsh taskmistress and history teaches that when nations stop talking, war is the result. As the Prussian general and military theorist Carl von Clausewitz once declared, “war is a continuation of politics by other means,” and the neocons are using a blood-soaked political ace to trump the United Nations and the Security Council into providing a familiar nod in the direction of war. As Whitney notes, the neocons believe they “can garner the necessary votes to bring Iran before the Security Council and, perhaps, win support for punitive action,” in other words support for total war, or rather total shock and awe, including the use of “global strike” nukes, as Cheney has promised.

Once again, the spineless United Nations is being set-up to rubber stamp the Straussian neocon plan for the total destruction of Islamic society and culture, as per the long-held neocon plan. It was nearly three years ago the cardboard cut-out non-president, George W. Bush, announced that “diplomacy has failed” and would rally the so-called “coalition of the willing” (or rather coalition of the bribed) to illegally and immorally invade Iraq and thus divest Saddam of his illusory “weapons of mass destruction.” As we know but far too many of us are wont to forget, prior to this “decision” (or implementation of the long-held Straussian neocon plan), there was a flurry of useless and (in retrospect) absurd diplomacy and debate amongst the members of the UN Security Council about the legality of invading an essentially defenseless and sanctions-wracked country.

As for the latter, France and Russia had asked long before the neocons grabbed the White House and the Pentagon that the murderous sanctions (more than a million people suffered and died, 500,000 of them children) but first Bill Clinton and then George Bush the Lesser, with the help of his faithful sidekick, Tony Blair, insisted on an unending cycle of mass murder, otherwise known as genocide. For its squeamishness and lack of fortitude in the task carved out by the neocons—kill hundreds of thousands of Iraqis and reduce the once proud nation to a violent cauldron—France was vilified and demonized in Congress (remember “Freedom Fries”) and the corporate media disparagingly referred to it as “Old Europe” (while “New Europe” semi-nations, such as Hungary, Georgia, Estonia, Czechoslovakia, Estonia, Poland, and other post-communist wrecks, signed on in the hope they would be remunerated for their slavish behavior). It’s basically the same dog-eared script the Straussian neocons are following this time around.

It is sincerely pathetic (although more or less predictable) to see stuffed shirts—Philippe Douste-Blazy (France), Jack Straw (Britain), Frank-Walter Steinmeier (Germany), and Javier Solana (European High Representative of the Common Foreign and Security Policy)—”holding talks” in Berlin, basically pow-wowing in arrogant blue-blood fashion on how best to “refer” the sovereign nation of Iran to the bankrupt Security Council, greasing the skids for the neocons, who plan to kill as many Iranians as possible and, if the Straussian necromancer Cheney has his way, nuke the place and, as mindless Bush supporters, waving their plastic flags made by slaves in China, like to caterwaul, turn the place into a radioactive parking lot.

Meanwhile, as the old war criminal Ariel Sharon lies in a coma, acting Israeli PM Ehud Olmert decided to egg on the coming death dance. “Under no circumstances, and at no point, can Israel allow anyone with these kinds of malicious designs against us, to have control of weapons of destruction that can threaten our existence,” Olmert told a joint news conference with Israeli president Moshe Katsav. “The state of Israel cannot reconcile itself to a situation in which there is a threat against us, just as, in my view, the nations of Europe and the United States cannot reconcile themselves.”

Some of us cannot reconcile ourselves with the fact Israel has around 400 nuclear bombs (according to estimates based on information provided by Mordechai Vanunu, who was locked up for nearly 20 years for revealing the truth about Israel’s nukes to the world). Israel has unscrupulously used these nukes to blackmail the United States (for instance, they forced Kissinger and Nixon to airlift supplies during the 1973 Yom Kippur War, according to Seymour M. Hersh in his book, The Samson Option: Israel’s Nuclear Arsenal and American Foreign Policy). “Too many senior Israeli officials have taken to issuing threatening statements vis-a-vis Iraq and Iran,” declared defense analyst Zeev Schiff. “Off-the-cuff Israeli nuclear threats have become a problem, even before the onset of the Iraqi crisis…. Washington may decide it wants to distance itself from Israel in order to avoid being accused of having conspired with us on an action we planned exclusively by ourselves” (see previous link). Of course, Washington did no such thing—and no politician there would think of it, considering the almighty clout of AIPAC and “lobbyists” with all the thuggish finesse of Jack Abramoff.

But none of this is relevant now. Israel will goad the United States—with the dumbfounded blessing of the Europeans (or their blue-blood rulers) and the ineffectual suck-up Security Council—into blasting the daylights out of Iran, probably killing thousands, if not eventually hundreds of thousands of innocent people.

It appears all of this will go down in March, when “diplomacy” finally fails in the United Nations and, significantly, when America reaches its $8,184 trillion debt ceiling, thus forcing the nation (to the greedy glee of the criminal neolib financier class) into a spurt of military Keynesianism in order to jump-start the economy. Few seem to notice this is what happened in Germany in the 1930s and the result was fascism and mass misery and incomprehensible numbers of dead people. “Wars provide an economic boost but typically produce little of lasting value,” notes Gracchus Jones. “But in America today, there is no economic engine, and if there is one thing modern economic history proves, it is that you cannot have prosperity without one.”

And that’s why we are inexorably headed for a dictatorship in this country. Iran will be the catalyst. The Straussian neocon Iran attack will undoubtedly ignite the Middle East and the coming depression will fill the ranks of a newly minted slave-conscription military with young unemployed bodies. Total war and economic misery mixed with a police state now rearing its ugly head is manna from heaven for the Straussian neocons. “No stages,” John Pilger reports Richard Perle declaring. “This is total war. We are fighting a variety of enemies. There are lots of them out there. All this talk about first we are going to do Afghanistan, then we will do Iraq… this is entirely the wrong way to go about it. If we just let our vision of the world go forth, and we embrace it entirely and we don’t try to piece together clever diplomacy, but just wage a total war… our children will sing great songs about us years from now.”

Of course, it will be difficult to sing when you’re dying from cancer, thanks to a planet polluted with depleted uranium.

Once Upon A Time In America

The America that our children are growing up in today in no way resembles the America our Founding Fathers bequeathed to their posterity. The America of our ancestors had no IRS, no ACLU, no NEA, and no BATFE. In our fathers' America, children could pray aloud and read the Bible in school. Divorce rates were practically unknown as was child abuse.

In America of yesteryear, it didn't cost billions of dollars to educate our children, and when they graduated from grammar school, they had a better education than most high school graduates (and even some college graduates) today. Then again, that was during a time when teachers enjoyed parents' support in maintaining discipline in the classroom. Imagine that.

In our once great America, virginity and chastity were popular virtues, and one could live to old age and never be exposed to the abominations of homosexuality and adultery.

There was a time in this great country when, except for a few certain morally corrupt large cities, the most egregious gamblers hung out in bingo parlors, and anyone who even whispered his or her support for state-sponsored gambling would be run out of town on a rail.

Once upon a time in this great land, it only took a father's paycheck to comfortably support his family. This was primarily due to the fact that local, state, and federal taxes were not stealing nearly half of his income. Beyond that, when he bought a piece of property, no one could take it away-not even the government. After all, he was not then required to pay squatter's rent (property taxes) in order to keep something he had already paid for.

There was also a time in the once noble America when physicians actually made personal visits to the homes of their patients. You see, doctors then truly went into their profession for the purpose of helping people and not to get rich.

Furthermore, at one time in our once wonderful country, Sunday was universally regarded as "The Lord's Day," and one would look long and hard to find even a dime store (remember those?) open.

I even remember when Americans were free to order firearms from the Sears and Roebuck or J.C. Penny catalog. Then again, I well recall that as a boy I could leave home on my bicycle (with instructions to be back at a certain time) and never entertain the first thought that I was in any danger.

I also remember going to the Saturday matinee unsupervised (it was unnecessary) and never hearing God's name taken in vain or any other profane speech, for that matter. There was no rating system then, of course, because virtually every movie was suitable for the entire family.

Furthermore, some of us can even remember when farmers were free to plant whatever crops they chose and in whatever quantities they chose. And they did not have to "give the farm away" in order to purchase the needed equipment, either.

However, the America our children are growing up in today is much different. Today's children are daily exposed to all manner of moral deviancy, risk becoming a victim of sexual predators, and attend schools that more resemble detention centers than institutions of education.

Today's children are growing up in a world where their federal government has become a ubiquitous snoop, where freedoms are only granted piece-meal, and where most of their life's activity is controlled and regulated by the great Nanny State. Americans need to face it: freedom, as envisioned by America's Founding Fathers, is dead! Today's America is some kind of hybrid collection of fascism, socialism, and international capitalism, and where the difference between Democrats and Republicans isn't worth a plug nickel! Neither do the terms "liberal" nor "conservative" hold any meaning today. On the whole, neither group has the slightest understanding of America's founding principles.

No, today's America holds no resemblance to the once great nation for which our forebears fought and died. And given the rapidity with which America has forsaken its heritage, can you imagine what it will look like 50 years from now?

People forgetting basic U.S. freedoms

If you support a king-like presidency, if you don't believe that due process is important for everybody, if you don't recognize a right to privacy, if you think freedom of religion means freedom to use public money to support the most popular religion, if you don't think it matters that our leaders lied to us about reasons for going to war, if it doesn't bother you that we torture prisoners, what exactly is it that you think makes this country great?

We have been a beacon of hope for more than two centuries because there was always the idea that these things are not acceptable in our government.

There have been stumbling blocks of course, but there were guiding ideals and the potential for what we could be generally outweighed the sins that were committed.

I get the sense now that those guiding principles are being thrown away. As the tyranny that sparked our existence gets forgotten in history books, we have collectively forgotten why so many of our rights were so important to the founding fathers.

It's not necessarily that they were smarter than any of us, but they saw first hand why those rights were so valuable.

Now, out of fear and ignorance, many in this country have decided that those rights really aren't that important. I hope it doesn't take another round of complete tyranny for people to again realize the importance of the liberties that we have been given.

Face it, the polls again proved they don't need you; they control the voting machines

To the Republicans' glee, following 18 hours of worthless show hearings, the Democrats say they can't stop Samuel Alito's confirmation for a seat on the US Supreme Court. Hogwash!

The truth is that they don't want to make the effort to block the slippery, ultra-rightist Alito, even if it costs the people -- "rabble" as John Adams called them -- what little is left of their freedoms. After all, George W. Bush said that "the constitution is just a goddamned piece of paper."

It's not that the Dems fear the reaction of the people if they attempt to filibuster Alito's confirmation or manage, with the help of any sane Republicans, to deny Alito a seat on the highest court. Why should they? After all, there is that elephant in the room that too many people refuse to acknowledge: computerized voting equipment -- touch screens, optically scanned ballots, even punched cards that are tabulated by easily rigged computers. The two things the Democrats fear is angering their fascist power brokers who pony up the campaign money that fattens the pockets of the corporate media and whatever dirt Bush has on them, thanks to the illegal snooping of the FBI, the CIA and the NSA.

The other wing of the party, the Republican, falsely claims the occupant of the White House, as long as he/she is a Republicrat -- whether installed there legitimately or illegitimately, as in the case of George W. Bush -- is entitled to his/her appointments. Where is that written in the Constitution of the United States?

Nowhere. Article II of the constitution says, "He shall have Power, by and with the Advice and Consent of the Senate, to make Treaties, provided two-thirds of the Senators present concur; and he shall nominate, and by and with the Advice and Consent of the Senate, shall appoint Ambassadors, other public Ministers and Counsuls, Judges of the supreme Court, all other Officers of the United States, whose Appointments are not herein otherwise provided for, and which shall be established by Law: but the Congress may by Law vest the Appointment of such inferior Officers, as they think proper, in the President alone, in the Courts of Law, or in the Heads of Department." [Emphasis added]

True, the framers sandbagged us by not requiring a two-thirds vote of the Senate on Supreme Court justices, ambassadors, cabinet officers and all the rest. Even at that, the constitution doesn't say a president is entitled to have his/her choices rubber-stamped.

And Republicrats being Republicrats, whether they are ultra-rightists, conservatives or moderates, never consider how their actions can come home to bite them. An example of their shortsightedness is the 22nd Amendment, limiting a president to two terms. Passed by the Republican-controlled Senate of the 80th Congress in 1947, in a fit of anger over Franklin D. Roosevelt's election to four terms, and ratified on March 1, 1951, it was the Republicrats who felt the sting of their handiwork because President Dwight Eisenhower, a Republican, could not seek a third term, had the ailing Ike wanted to try for three. The Republicrats got stung again by their presidential term limit amendment that prohibited their sainted Ronald Reagan, despite being in the early stages of Alzheimer's disease, from seeking a third term.

It's been all downhill for the few that have managed to hang onto the White House for second terms since the ratification of the 22nd Amendment. Call it the Lame Duck Syndrome. Richard Nixon, facing impeachment, resigned in disgrace. Reagan engaged in the illegal Iran-contra affair and, up until George W. Bush, racked up more debt that all his predecessors combined. Clinton was impeached, not for his real crimes (illegally bombing Kosovo, Serbian civilians, Baghdad, Afghanistan, and Sudan; aiding and abetting Suharto, continuing sanctions against Iraq; banning the sale of food, medicine and water treatment chemicals to Cuba) but for lying about his sexual affairs. And now we have George W., a vicious cheat, liar and war criminal, who is a tiny step away from declaring himself a dictator, so don't be surprised if he announces that an "election" in 2008 will imperil "national security," therefore, for the "protection" of the American people, he ain't leaving.

After all, what incentive do lame ducks have to do the right thing? None. The only incentive they have is to please their corporate masters in order to land cushy positions -- little work, big pay -- when they leave office. But that didn't occur to the Republicrats back in '47, because they were blinded by their hatred for the dead Roosevelt and the Democans, even though it was a Democan, Harry Truman, who ordered two atomic bombs dropped on Japan and saddled us with the CIA and NSA. That shows the Democratic Party was already three-quarters gone. After that the only possibly real Democrat to gain the presidency was John F. Kennedy, but he had to be eliminated before making a reelection bid, so we'll never know for sure how much of a real Democrat he was.

And now the Republicrats, blinded by hubris, are wallowing in their power, never giving a thought to the possibility that Samuel Alito, once on the Supreme Court, may do a 180 on them. Ike got the surprise when Earl Warren, his choice for chief justice, whom he believed to be a moderate conservative proved to be an unabashed liberal -- that's back in the days when there were some real liberals, not today's cowering Democans the Republicrats bogusly claim are liberals.

As for Alito, is it too far-fetched to think this guy may be something other than he appears to be? Consider how he has made a career of sucking up to Republicrats who could advance his climb up the ladder. Is he merely a yes man or has he just been working toward the big prize: a lifetime appointment to the Supreme Court? Do we really want to find out? Because if he allies himself with Antonin Scalia, Clarence Thomas, John Roberts, it will take only one more radical "strict constructionist" on the court to cook us and give Bush anything and everything he wants.

If the Democans can't put up a fight to keep Alito or any other radical conservative off the court, what makes anyone think they will have the guts to draw bills of impeachment against Bush and his whole administration -- even if the powers behind the curtain rig the vote to let them regain both houses next November?

If either wing of our one major party had a shred of decency and any regard for the constitution they swore to uphold and defend, Alito and any other nominee needing Senate confirmation should have been bounced out the first time they refused to answer a question, waffled or wavered. The American people have a right to know what they are getting. And any Democan or Republicrat who quivers in fear of being accused of "Borking" a nominee disgraces the country and us.

The same band of fascists who have taken over the Republican Party also control the Democratic Party through the monstrous Democratic Leadership Council. A fact that many have yet to face up to. But come November, millions will dutifully cast votes on rigged equipment and the powers that be will pretend to count them, knowing full well the outcome beforehand.

Directed-energy weapons take the form of lasers, high-powered microwaves and particle beams. Their adoption for ground, air, sea, and space warfare depends not only on using the electromagnetic spectrum, but also upon favorable political and budgetary wavelengths too.

That’s the outlook of J. Douglas Beason, author of the recently published book "The E-Bomb: How America’s New Directed Energy Weapons Will Change the Way Wars Will Be Fought in the Future." Beason previously served on the White House staff working for the president’s science adviser under both the Bush and Clinton administrations.

After more than two decades of research, the United States is on the verge of deploying a new generation of weapons that discharge beams of energy, such as the Airborne Laser and the Active Denial System, as well as the Tactical High Energy Laser, or THEL.

"History has shown that, without investment in high technology, fighting the next war will be done using the 'last war' type of technique," Beason told Space.com. Putting money into basic and long-range research is critical, Beason said, adding: "You can’t always schedule breakthroughs."

A leading expert in directed-energy research for 26 years, Beason is also director of threat reduction here at the Los Alamos National Laboratory. However, he noted that he was expressing his own views rather than the policy of the laboratory, the Defense Department or the Energy Department.

Ripe for transformation?
Though considerable work has been done in lasers, high-power microwaves and other directed-energy technologies, weaponization is still an ongoing process.

For example, work is continuing in the military’s Airborne Laser program. It utilizes a megawatt-class, high-energy chemical oxygen iodine laser toted skyward aboard a modified Boeing 747-400 aircraft. Purpose of the program is to enable the detection, tracking and destruction of ballistic missiles in the boost phase, or powered part of their flight.

Similarly, testing of the U.S. Army’s Tactical High Energy Laser in White Sands, N.M., has shown the ability of heating high-flying rocket warheads, blasting them with enough energy to make them self-detonate. THEL uses a high-energy, deuterium fluoride chemical laser. A mobile THEL also demonstrated the ability to kill multiple mortar rounds.

Then there’s Active Denial Technology — a non-lethal way to use millimeter-wave electromagnetic energy to stop, deter and turn back an advancing adversary. This technology, supported by the U.S. Marines, uses a beam of millimeter waves to heat a foe’s skin, causing severe pain without damage, and making the adversary flee the scene.

Beason also pointed to new exciting research areas underway at the Los Alamos National Laboratory: Free-electron laser work with the Navy and a new type of directed energy that operates in the terahertz region.

Niche for new technology
While progress in directed-energy is appreciable, Beason sees two upfront problems in moving the technology forward. One issue has to do with "convincing the warfighter that there’s a niche for this new type of weapon," and the other relates to making sure these new systems are not viewed as a panacea to solve all problems. "They are only another tool," he said.

Looming even larger is the role of those who acquire new weapons. "The U.S. could put ourselves in a very disastrous position if we allow our acquisition officials to be non-technically competent," Beason explained.

Over the decades, Beason said that the field of directed-energy has had its share of "snake-oil salesmen", as well as those advocates who overpromised. "It wasn’t ready for prime time."

At present, directed-energy systems "are barely limping along with enough money just to prove that they can work," Beason pointed out. Meanwhile, huge slugs of money are being put into legacy-type systems to keep them going.

"It’s a matter of priority," Beason said. The time is now to identify high-payoff, directed-energy projects for the smallest amounts of money, he said.

As Usual, Conservative Christians Don't Get It

With confirmation hearings underway for Judge Samuel Alito, many conservative Christians are focusing on the abortion issue. In fact, many pro-life activists are hailing Alito as the man who would overturn legalized abortion in America.

However, as is usually the case, most conservative Christians cannot see beyond the abortion debate to look at the bigger picture. Then again, myopia seems to be a permanent disorder affecting a majority of conservative Christians today, so why should things suddenly change now?

For the record, Judge Alito probably finds abortion personally repugnant. It is certainly safe to say that Alito's opinions on abortion seem to reflect greater respect for life than anything we saw from Justice Sandra Day O'Connor. However, that reality alone will not make much difference. There is a greater reality at work here that most conservative Christians deliberately choose to ignore: the Republican Party has no intentions of ending legalized abortion! Absolutely none!

To the vast majority of Republicans in Washington, D.C., the abortion issue is merely a ready-made sugar-stick to hand out to conservative Christians every election cycle in order to keep them corralled in the GOP vote column.

As long as a Republican candidate can claim to be "pro-life," he or she can count on receiving sizeable support from conservative Christians. That simple statement, whether genuine or not, whether followed with any substantive action or not, guarantees that most Christian televangelists will spend countless hours pleading with their supporters to vote "pro-life" by supporting the GOP ticket.

It doesn't matter that so-called "pro-life" Republican candidates have had over 30 years to overturn Roe and are no closer now to doing so than they were when Roe was first decided. It doesn't matter that not a single "pro-life" Republican congressman has introduced legislation under Article III, Section 2, of the U.S. Constitution to remove Roe from the jurisdiction of the Court, which is the prerogative of Congress to do. It doesn't matter that after spending multiplied millions of dollars and electing hundreds of "pro-life" Republicans, nothing has been done to overturn Roe. It doesn't matter that the Republican Party has controlled the White House for over 17 of the last 25 years and, accordingly, has controlled appointments to the U.S. Supreme Court for all of those years (not to mention the fact that it was a majority Republican- appointed Court that passed the Roe decision), and nothing has been done to overturn Roe. All that matters is that Republicans talk "pro-life" during the election cycle.

How can any sensible person believe that the Republican Party truly intends to overturn the Roe v Wade Supreme Court decision that legalized abortion on demand? It's beyond laughable: it's hysterical!

Even if Judge Alito would vote to overturn Roe should the opportunity present itself, it is almost certain that Chief Justice John Roberts would not vote to overturn it. Therefore, the vote to overturn Roe is 6-3 against-at best! In other words, we are no closer to reversing Roe v Wade than we were before President Bush was elected!

However, none of this matters to most conservative Christians. After all, they can beat their chests, hobnob with Republican big- shots, raise millions of dollars from gullible Christians, and pretend to be "pro-life" every two years from now until the cows come home without worrying about anything of substance actually being done. What a racket! Yet, the situation is actually worse than that.

Worse than most Christians' gullibility regarding the abortion issue is the manner in which they give Republicans a pass on other issues of immense importance. It seems that all a Republican has to do to gain the confidence and support of the vast majority of conservative Christians is say he is "pro-life" and opposed to homosexual marriage. His or her position on virtually everything else doesn't seem to matter.

It doesn't seem to matter to most conservative Christians that President Bush has increased deficit spending beyond that of all previous administrations put together. Yes, you read it right: President Bush (with the aid of his fellow Republicans in Congress) is a bigger debtor than all 42 of his predecessors combined!

According to the McAlvany Intelligence Advisor, Dec. 2005, "According to the Treasury Department, from 1776-2000, the first 224 years of U.S. history, 42 U.S. presidents borrowed a combined $1.01 trillion from foreign governments and financial institutions, but in the past four years alone, the Bush administration borrowed $1.05 trillion." But that doesn't matter to a hill of beans to most conservative Christians. Bush is "pro-life."

It doesn't matter to the vast majority of conservative Christians that President Bush is attempting to accrue power to the executive branch at the expense of constitutional government, that he is championing extremely questionable, if not downright dangerous, legislation that could result in the dismantlement of civil and individual liberties. It doesn't matter that Bush is involved in the most intense nation-building scheme in post World War II history. It doesn't matter that he has done more to open the door of illegal immigration than any president in modern memory. It doesn't matter that he spearheaded (and continues to laud) the most expensive and most intrusive expansion of the federal government's role in public education in U.S. history. It doesn't matter that Bush continues to promote ill-conceived trade deals such as CAFTA and FTAA which weaken American independence and sacrifice thousands of American jobs. Because President Bush claims to be "pro-life," conservative Christians give him a pass on virtually any and all other conduct.

Therefore, even if (a big if) Judge Alito would join Justices Antonin Scalia and Clarence Thomas as being willing to overturn Roe, the votes are still not there to actually do so.

Furthermore, President Bush could get at least one, and maybe two, additional Supreme Court appointments. Two of the Court's current justices are aged and in ill health. In other words, by the time Bush leaves office, he could get as many as four appointments to the High Court.

However, instead of overturning Roe v Wade, it is much more likely that the Supreme Court will further advance the imperialistic philosophy of the Bush administration resulting in an ongoing and rapid demise of individual liberties for American citizens. In other words, legalized abortion will still be intact but constitutional liberties won't be, Bush's appointments to the High Court notwithstanding. And, unfortunately, when it happens, conservative Christians still won't get it.

Create an e-annoyance, go to jail

Annoying someone via the Internet is now a federal crime.

It's no joke. Last Thursday, President Bush signed into law a prohibition on posting annoying Web messages or sending annoying e-mail messages without disclosing your true identity.

In other words, it's OK to flame someone on a mailing list or in a blog as long as you do it under your real name. Thank Congress for small favors, I guess.

This ridiculous prohibition, which would likely imperil much of Usenet, is buried in the so-called Violence Against Women and Department of Justice Reauthorization Act. Criminal penalties include stiff fines and two years in prison.

"The use of the word 'annoy' is particularly problematic," says Marv Johnson, legislative counsel for the American Civil Liberties Union. "What's annoying to one person may not be annoying to someone else."

Buried deep in the new law is Sec. 113, an innocuously titled bit called "Preventing Cyberstalking." It rewrites existing telephone harassment law to prohibit anyone from using the Internet "without disclosing his identity and with intent to annoy."

To grease the rails for this idea, Sen. Arlen Specter, a Pennsylvania Republican, and the section's other sponsors slipped it into an unrelated, must-pass bill to fund the Department of Justice. The plan: to make it politically infeasible for politicians to oppose the measure.

The tactic worked. The bill cleared the House of Representatives by voice vote, and the Senate unanimously approved it Dec. 16.

There's an interesting side note. An earlier version that the House approved in September had radically different wording. It was reasonable by comparison, and criminalized only using an "interactive computer service" to cause someone "substantial emotional harm."

That kind of prohibition might make sense. But why should merely annoying someone be illegal?

There are perfectly legitimate reasons to set up a Web site or write something incendiary without telling everyone exactly who you are.

Think about it: A woman fired by a manager who demanded sexual favors wants to blog about it without divulging her full name. An aspiring pundit hopes to set up the next Suck.com. A frustrated citizen wants to send e-mail describing corruption in local government without worrying about reprisals.

In each of those three cases, someone's probably going to be annoyed. That's enough to make the action a crime. (The Justice Department won't file charges in every case, of course, but trusting prosecutorial discretion is hardly reassuring.)

Clinton Fein, a San Francisco resident who runs the Annoy.com site, says a feature permitting visitors to send obnoxious and profane postcards through e-mail could be imperiled.

"Who decides what's annoying? That's the ultimate question," Fein said. He added: "If you send an annoying message via the United States Post Office, do you have to reveal your identity?"

Fein once sued to overturn part of the Communications Decency Act that outlawed transmitting indecent material "with intent to annoy." But the courts ruled the law applied only to obscene material, so Annoy.com didn't have to worry.

"I'm certainly not going to close the site down," Fein said on Friday. "I would fight it on First Amendment grounds."

He's right. Our esteemed politicians can't seem to grasp this simple point, but the First Amendment protects our right to write something that annoys someone else.

It even shields our right to do it anonymously. U.S. Supreme Court Justice Clarence Thomas defended this principle magnificently in a 1995 case involving an Ohio woman who was punished for distributing anonymous political pamphlets.

If President Bush truly believed in the principle of limited government (it is in his official bio), he'd realize that the law he signed cannot be squared with the Constitution he swore to uphold.

And then he'd repeat what President Clinton did a decade ago when he felt compelled to sign a massive telecommunications law. Clinton realized that the section of the law punishing abortion-related material on the Internet was unconstitutional, and he directed the Justice Department not to enforce it.

Bush has the chance to show his respect for what he calls Americans' personal freedoms. Now we'll see if the president rises to the occasion.

This isn't about storing silver coins or canned food or getting an AK-47.

It's about saving your soul not your skin. It's about the tendency to obsess on the New World Order, get depressed and become unbearable.

The situation is depressing. A satanic cult controls the credit of the world and rules through myriad proxies. It is determined to destroy civilization and institute an Orwellian police state.

You spend hours every day addictively watching for new developments. Your face is pressed up against the store window of the world.

You are "externalized." You can't go into the kitchen without switching on the radio.

You try to squeeze your sustenance from the world. But much of what you imbibe is poisonous: depravity, corruption, duplicity and tragedy. (Is that the point of the mass media? To demoralize and brutalize?)

Mankind is in the grip of a diabolical force that constantly strives to legitimize itself through deception. You can't overcome this demon. But you still control your personal life. Ultimately, the battle is for the soul of humanity. Why not begin by defending your soul?

This means erecting a wall between the soul, and the world, and establishing a balance between the sacred and the profane. You need to shut out the world (the profane) for set periods of time and focus on what inspires you. That means turning off the TV, Internet and media in general.

Just as you nourish your body with food, you feed your soul with thoughts, sights and sounds. Your soul reaches out for beauty, grace, harmony, truth and goodness. You need to discover what lifts your spirit.

It might be a long walk, nature, music, sports, or music. It might be time with your family or friends. It might be the Bible, religious writing or meditation.

"Do what you love," Henry David Thoreau said. "Know your own bone; gnaw at it, bury it, unearth it, and gnaw at it still."

You agree with the mystics who say happiness is within. It involves the possession of your soul, and not wanting anything else. By looking outside your self, you displace your soul and become the thing you want. This is the source of addictive behavior and unhappiness.

The occult elite controls us with sex and money- the North-South of the mind. The courtship stage is a period when sexual feelings are strong so two people will bond and start a family. Sex/romance was not meant to become a permanent preoccupation and panacea. The cult uses it to distract and degrade us while it creates a police state (using the "War on Terror" as a ruse.)

The same is true of money. The stock market is a giant casino addicting millions. The central banking cult has unlimited funds. To make us feel good, (while it trashes civil rights and wages senseless war) it makes the market go up. To fleece us, it crashes the market. Don't be a puppet.

The diabolical powers have been here for a long time. You have discovered their existence only because they signaled the beginning of their endgame on Sept. 11.

Don't let them stunt or degrade you by obsessing on their iniquity. Restore balance by attuning yourself to the things you love. Be an outpost of happiness.

Why Did the CIA Give Iran the Atom Bomb?

In an extract from his explosive new book, New York Times reporter James Risen reveals the bungles and miscalculations that led to a spectacular intelligence fiasco

She had probably done this a dozen times before. Modern digital technology had made clandestine communications with overseas agents seem routine. Back in the cold war, contacting a secret agent in Moscow or Beijing was a dangerous, labour-intensive process that could take days or even weeks. But by 2004, it was possible to send high-speed, encrypted messages directly and instantaneously from CIA headquarters to agents in the field who were equipped with small, covert personal communications devices. So the officer at CIA headquarters assigned to handle communications with the agency's spies in Iran probably didn't think twice when she began her latest download. With a few simple commands, she sent a secret data flow to one of the Iranian agents in the CIA's spy network. Just as she had done so many times before.

But this time, the ease and speed of the technology betrayed her. The CIA officer had made a disastrous mistake. She had sent information to one Iranian agent that exposed an entire spy network; the data could be used to identify virtually every spy the CIA had inside Iran.
Mistake piled on mistake. As the CIA later learned, the Iranian who received the download was a double agent. The agent quickly turned the data over to Iranian security officials, and it enabled them to "roll up" the CIA's network throughout Iran. CIA sources say that several of the Iranian agents were arrested and jailed, while the fates of some of the others is still unknown.

This espionage disaster, of course, was not reported. It left the CIA virtually blind in Iran, unable to provide any significant intelligence on one of the most critical issues facing the US - whether Tehran was about to go nuclear.

In fact, just as President Bush and his aides were making the case in 2004 and 2005 that Iran was moving rapidly to develop nuclear weapons, the American intelligence community found itself unable to provide the evidence to back up the administration's public arguments. On the heels of the CIA's failure to provide accurate pre-war intelligence on Iraq's alleged weapons of mass destruction, the agency was once again clueless in the Middle East. In the spring of 2005, in the wake of the CIA's Iranian disaster, Porter Goss, its new director, told President Bush in a White House briefing that the CIA really didn't know how close Iran was to becoming a nuclear power.

But it's worse than that. Deep in the bowels of the CIA, someone must be nervously, but very privately, wondering: "Whatever happened to those nuclear blueprints we gave to the Iranians?"

The story dates back to the Clinton administration and February 2000, when one frightened Russian scientist walked Vienna's winter streets. The Russian had good reason to be afraid. He was walking around Vienna with blueprints for a nuclear bomb.

To be precise, he was carrying technical designs for a TBA 480 high-voltage block, otherwise known as a "firing set", for a Russian-designed nuclear weapon. He held in his hands the knowledge needed to create a perfect implosion that could trigger a nuclear chain reaction inside a small spherical core. It was one of the greatest engineering secrets in the world, providing the solution to one of a handful of problems that separated nuclear powers such as the United States and Russia from rogue countries such as Iran that were desperate to join the nuclear club but had so far fallen short.

The Russian, who had defected to the US years earlier, still couldn't believe the orders he had received from CIA headquarters. The CIA had given him the nuclear blueprints and then sent him to Vienna to sell them - or simply give them - to the Iranian representatives to the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA). With the Russian doing its bidding, the CIA appeared to be about to help Iran leapfrog one of the last remaining engineering hurdles blocking its path to a nuclear weapon. The dangerous irony was not lost on the Russian - the IAEA was an international organisation created to restrict the spread of nuclear technology.

The Russian was a nuclear engineer in the pay of the CIA, which had arranged for him to become an American citizen and funded him to the tune of $5,000 a month. It seemed like easy money, with few strings attached.

Until now. The CIA was placing him on the front line of a plan that seemed to be completely at odds with the interests of the US, and it had taken a lot of persuading by his CIA case officer to convince him to go through with what appeared to be a rogue operation.

The case officer worked hard to convince him - even though he had doubts about the plan as well. As he was sweet-talking the Russian into flying to Vienna, the case officer wondered whether he was involved in an illegal covert action. Should he expect to be hauled before a congressional committee and grilled because he was the officer who helped give nuclear blueprints to Iran? The code name for this operation was Merlin; to the officer, that seemed like a wry tip-off that nothing about this programme was what it appeared to be. He did his best to hide his concerns from his Russian agent.

The Russian's assignment from the CIA was to pose as an unemployed and greedy scientist who was willing to sell his soul - and the secrets of the atomic bomb - to the highest bidder. By hook or by crook, the CIA told him, he was to get the nuclear blueprints to the Iranians. They would quickly recognise their value and rush them back to their superiors in Tehran.

The plan had been laid out for the defector during a CIA-financed trip to San Francisco, where he had meetings with CIA officers and nuclear experts mixed in with leisurely wine-tasting trips to Sonoma County. In a luxurious San Francisco hotel room, a senior CIA official involved in the operation talked the Russian through the details of the plan. He brought in experts from one of the national laboratories to go over the blueprints that he was supposed to give the Iranians.

The senior CIA officer could see that the Russian was nervous, and so he tried to downplay the significance of what they were asking him to do. He said the CIA was mounting the operation simply to find out where the Iranians were with their nuclear programme. This was just an intelligence-gathering effort, the CIA officer said, not an illegal attempt to give Iran the bomb. He suggested that the Iranians already had the technology he was going to hand over to them. It was all a game. Nothing too serious.

On paper, Merlin was supposed to stunt the development of Tehran's nuclear programme by sending Iran's weapons experts down the wrong technical path. The CIA believed that once the Iranians had the blueprints and studied them, they would believe the designs were usable and so would start to build an atom bomb based on the flawed designs. But Tehran would get a big surprise when its scientists tried to explode their new bomb. Instead of a mushroom cloud, the Iranian scientists would witness a disappointing fizzle. The Iranian nuclear programme would suffer a humiliating setback, and Tehran's goal of becoming a nuclear power would have been delayed by several years. In the meantime, the CIA, by watching Iran's reaction to the blueprints, would have gained a wealth of information about the status of Iran's weapons programme, which has been shrouded in secrecy.

The Russian studied the blueprints the CIA had given him. Within minutes of being handed the designs, he had identified a flaw. "This isn't right," he told the CIA officers gathered around the hotel room. "There is something wrong." His comments prompted stony looks, but no straight answers from the CIA men. No one in the meeting seemed surprised by the Russian's assertion that the blueprints didn't look quite right, but no one wanted to enlighten him further on the matter, either.

In fact, the CIA case officer who was the Russian's personal handler had been stunned by his statement. During a break, he took the senior CIA officer aside. "He wasn't supposed to know that," the CIA case officer told his superior. "He wasn't supposed to find a flaw."

"Don't worry," the senior CIA officer calmly replied. "It doesn't matter."

The CIA case officer couldn't believe the senior CIA officer's answer, but he managed to keep his fears from the Russian, and continued to train him for his mission.

After their trip to San Francisco, the case officer handed the Russian a sealed envelope with the nuclear blueprints inside. He was told not to open the envelope under any circumstances. He was to follow the CIA's instructions to find the Iranians and give them the envelope with the documents inside. Keep it simple, and get out of Vienna safe and alive, the Russian was told. But the defector had his own ideas about how he might play that game.

The CIA had discovered that a high-ranking Iranian official would be travelling to Vienna and visiting the Iranian mission to the IAEA, and so the agency decided to send the Russian to Vienna at the same time. It was hoped that he could make contact with either the Iranian representative to the IAEA or the visitor from Tehran.

In Vienna, however, the Russian unsealed the envelope with the nuclear blueprints and included a personal letter of his own to the Iranians. No matter what the CIA told him, he was going to hedge his bets. There was obviously something wrong with the blueprints - so he decided to mention that fact to the Iranians in his letter. They would certainly find flaws for themselves, and if he didn't tell them first, they would never want to deal with him again.

The Russian was thus warning the Iranians as carefully as he could that there was a flaw somewhere in the nuclear blueprints, and he could help them find it. At the same time, he was still going through with the CIA's operation in the only way he thought would work.

The Russian soon found 19 Heinstrasse, a five-storey office and apartment building with a flat, pale green and beige facade in a quiet, slightly down-at-heel neighbourhood in Vienna's north end. Amid the list of Austrian tenants, there was one simple line: "PM/Iran." The Iranians clearly didn't want publicity. An Austrian postman helped him. As the Russian stood by, the postman opened the building door and dropped off the mail. The Russian followed suit; he realised that he could leave his package without actually having to talk to anyone. He slipped through the front door, and hurriedly shoved his envelope through the inner-door slot at the Iranian office.

The Russian fled the mission without being seen. He was deeply relieved that he had made the hand-off without having to come face to face with a real live Iranian. He flew back to the US without being detected by either Austrian security or, more importantly, Iranian intelligence.

Just days after the Russian dropped off his package at the Iranian mission, the National Security Agency reported that an Iranian official in Vienna abruptly changed his schedule, making airline reservations to fly home to Iran. The odds were that the nuclear blueprints were now in Tehran.

The Russian scientist's fears about the operation seemed well founded. He was the front man for what may have been one of the most reckless operations in the modern history of the CIA, one that may have helped put nuclear weapons in the hands of a charter member of what President George W Bush has called the "axis of evil".

Operation Merlin has been one of the most closely guarded secrets in the Clinton and Bush administrations. It's not clear who originally came up with the idea, but the plan was first approved by Clinton. After the Russian scientist's fateful trip to Vienna, however, the Merlin operation was endorsed by the Bush administration, possibly with an eye toward repeating it against North Korea or other dangerous states.

Several former CIA officials say that the theory behind Merlin - handing over tainted weapon designs to confound one of America's adversaries - is a trick that has been used many times in past operations, stretching back to the cold war. But in previous cases, such Trojan horse operations involved conventional weapons; none of the former officials had ever heard of the CIA attempting to conduct this kind of high-risk operation with designs for a nuclear bomb. The former officials also said these kind of programmes must be closely monitored by senior CIA managers in order to control the flow of information to the adversary. If mishandled, they could easily help an enemy accelerate its weapons development. That may be what happened with Merlin.

Iran has spent nearly 20 years trying to develop nuclear weapons, and in the process has created a strong base of sophisticated scientists knowledgeable enough to spot flaws in nuclear blueprints. Tehran also obtained nuclear blueprints from the network of Pakistani scientist Abdul Qadeer Khan, and so already had workable blueprints against which to compare the designs obtained from the CIA. Nuclear experts say that they would thus be able to extract valuable information from the blueprints while ignoring the flaws.

"If [the flaw] is bad enough," warned a nuclear weapons expert with the IAEA, "they will find it quite quickly. That would be my fear"

Microsoft Helps China Police The Net

I woke up today and read on the news that Microsoft has helped China police the internet by removing a blog by a Chinese student named Zhao Jing. What is really amazing is that the site itself is hosted in the US. Why a site hosted in the US is obeying Chinese law hasn't yet been explained by Microsoft as of this writing.

And the answer is because Microsoft has no tangible explanation. But we here at the Conspiracy Zone do have a explanation. The answer is Microsoft is not a company which cares about democracy or freedom of speech. Microsoft is a company which cares about profits, no matter what the cost.

Microsoft claims that its policy is to follow local laws. I guess that means laws which allow a repressive communist government to regulate and control its people. A government which, a few weeks ago, slaughtered an entire village of people just so it could take their land.

Yes, this is the type of local laws Microsoft submits to. And yet, this is the same company where millions of Americans are going to go out and buy a new Xbox 360 from. This is also the same company where millions of Americans will soon be buying the Windows Vista operating system from.

Microsoft is a company concerned with greed and not human rights. But it is beyond just greed. Microsoft and its founders are members of organizations like the Bilderberg Group which not only seek wealth and power, but want full control over the entire world.

They use their power and influence in order to help non democratic countries repress and hurt their people. In the long run, this will have detrimental effects on the world as we know it. My best advice to everyone is to boycott Microsoft as much as possible and don't buy their products!

The internet as we know it today has become one of the greatest technological marvels the world has ever seen. People from all walks of life are able to get online and build blogs and sites in which they can express themselves in anyway they choose.

This makes the government and big corporations very angry. The internet as we know it today originated from Arpanet and the world wide web itself was designed by Tim Berners Lee. The internet was never intended to be given to the common people. It was intended to be used by the military and government exclusively.

Allowing the internet to fall into the hands of people like you and me was the biggest mistake they ever made. Now writers, artists, programmers, and many other professionals are able to make money without the watchful eyes of the government.

Alternative news sites and blogs like The Conspiracy Zone and others have become a beacon of truth for those wanting to escape the corporate whitewash which has become the mainstream media. Major newspaper companies all over the US have begun to go bankrupt.

And millions of Americans are starting to pay more attention to alternative news sites than CNN and the New York Times. People freely trade movies and music which they purchased, causing fear in the RIAA and MPAA.

Yes, the internet has changed the world. But the government wants to shut it down. They want to take back control of what was once originally their own. They know they can't directly shut down the internet, do to an outrage on the part of the people.

So what they've done is create a corporate controlled Internet 2. Right now it is in its early stages and is only available on college campuses. But soon an attempt will be made to bring internet 2 into your home, and to slowly take away your rights and your ability to express yourself.

All the evidence shows the internet 2 will be used to crush the small but growing segment of home based businesses which have made a living based on the internet by heavily taxing domains and requiring licensing. Then only the big corporations will be able to flourish, as they do offline.

Kofi Annan and the UN wants to take control of the internet from the US and give it to countries like China and others who do not cherish democracy. It is up to us to fight back.

Why Bombing Iran Could Set The Stage For World War 3

Recently I carried an article here on the Conspiracy Zone about Iran's response to threats from the US and Israel that they would begin a bombing campaign this year. Iran has threatened a "crushing response" if they are attacked.

In this article I wanted to explain why the bombing of Iran could set the stage for World War 3 in the near future. Based on the detailed studies I've done on history and current events, all the evidence shows that the stage is being set for another great war.

The reason for the US wanting to bomb Iran is supposedly due to their ability to produce nuclear weapons. These are the same people that said Saddam had WMDs and could kill us with a massive terrorist attack. As usual these claims are spins are just plain lies.

All the intelligence shows that Iran won't have the capability of producing a nuke for at least nine or ten years. The real reason for the US and Israel attacking Iran is because Iran is a rogue government which is not under direct control of the globalists.

The globalists want to use the US as a pawn in order to start a war with Iran. But there is a problem for the US. Russia and China in the last year have conducted joint military exercises with each other and have vowed in 2006 to strengthen their ties both culturally and economically.

The real reason China and Russia are working together is because the US has established a military presence in Central Asia which they consider to be a threat.

Russia has begin selling uranium/plutonium to Iran which will give them the ability of producing a nuclear weapon. This can only mean one thing. The globalists are prepared to bring about another world war that the US may not be able to win.

With the weak results of Operation Iraqi Freedom, the US is losing support with its allies. Most foreign nations which at the beginning of the second Iraq War supported the US have now pulled out their troops. This means if a conflict breaks out between the US, Russia, China, and Iran, the EU and other nations may be reluctant to intervene.

The danger is clear. The US is being set up for a major fall and many of its citizens are not even aware of it. It is up to us to make everyone aware of this pending disaster. Another world war will give the UN and globalists an excuse to push harder for a one world government.

Iran Threatens 'Crushing' Response If Attacked

TEHRAN -- Iran warned Sunday of a "crushing" response if its nuclear and military facilities are attacked by the United States or Israel.

Top nuclear negotiator Ali Larijani said, however, talk of such an attack most likely is "psychological warfare."

"Iran has prepared itself...they will get a crushing response if they make such a mistake," Larijani said on Iranian television late Sunday.

Larijani said Israel would "suffer greatly" if it launched an attack.

"If there is any truth in such talks, Israel will suffer greatly. It's a very small country within our range."

"Our (defense) preparedness is a deterrence," he said.

He also said a Russian proposal the two countries enrich uranium on Russian territory could not ignore Iran's right to carry out enrichment at home.

"It's not logical for a country to put the fate of its nation at the disposal of another country, even if it's a friend. You can meet part of your fuel needs from abroad."

"But is there a guarantee that nuclear fuel producers won't play with you over price or other things? History and experience show that if you don't have technology, you will damage your independence," he said.

Larijani's remarks coincided with Tehran's announcement it had produced equipment for separating uranium from its ore, a fresh development in Tehran's drive to control the whole nuclear fuel cycle - from mining uranium to enriching it for use in atomic reactors.

European news media have indicated in recent days the United States is preparing its allies for a strike against Iran's nuclear and military facilities with the aim of curtailing Iran's nuclear program.

Reports of a strike escalated after comments by Iran's President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad who called Israel a "disgraceful blot" that should be "wiped off the map" and his call to relocate Israel to Europe or North America.

Recent visits to Turkey by CIA Director Porter Goss, head of the FBI, NATO General Secretary Jaap De Hoop Scheffer and U.S. Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice have increased speculation about a possible military strike against Iran. NATO member Turkey is Iran's northwestern neighbour.

President George W. Bush has said his administration would not exclude the possibility of using military force against Iran over its nuclear program, which the United States believes is aimed at producing weapons.

Pulitzer Prize-winning writer Seymour Hersh reported in the New Yorker magazine in Janurary last year the Bush administration had been "conducting secret reconnaissance missions inside Iran" to gather intelligence and targeting information. U.S. Defence Department officials said the article was filled with mistakes but did not deny its basic point.

Israel fears Iran is reaching a point of no return in nuclear technology. Iran has openly said it has already achieved proficiency in cycle of nuclear fuel, a technology that can be used to produce fuel for reactors to generate electricity or materials for a bomb.

The United States and European Union have backed a Russian proposal to move Iran's uranium-enrichment program to Russian territory. The proposal aims to ensure Iran cannot use uranium enrichment to build nuclear weapons. Enrichment is a key process that can produce either fuel for a nuclear reactor or the material for a warhead.

Larijani said Iran needs talks with Moscow to clarify what he described as "ambiguities" but said the proposal can't deny Iran uranium enrichment at home.

"The proposal is too general. If it talks about denying Iran of its rights, no. We have no right to do it," he said.

"But we have to study it and see if Iran's interests can be met. It can be a complimentary."

"There is no reason to reject it before discussions and accurate study," he said.

Larijani is secretary of the Supreme National Security Council, Iran's top security decision-making body that handles Iran's nuclear talks.

He said the Russian proposal will have nothing to do with nuclear talks among Iran and Britain, France and Germany. The talks last month made little progress and are to continue later this month.

The Conspiracy of Intelligent Design Versus Evolution

The new year has begun and I wanted to start things off by writing about a topic that has recently been at the center of a serious debate here in the US. This debate is about Intelligent Design and how it should be taught in schools along with and as an alternative to Evolution.

To anyone who is familiar with the workings and plans of the globalists/Illuminati, this is a clear strategy by them in order to "dumb down" the population by weakening science in the US and pushing theories which are not scientific.

Intelligent Design is merely a scientific sounding word which has the same meaning as creationism. One of the first things any scientist learns in school is that if something "cannot be proven or more importanly disproven", it is not scientific. It must be able to be measured in some way.

During World War 2, the Nazi government called in nearly 100 scientists to refute Einstein's theory of relativity. Einstein is reported to have said "It doesn't take 100 scientists to refute my theory. It only takes one fact."

Proponents of Intelligent Design have no way of measuring or disproving their own theory. They have no facts which prove beyond a shadow of a doubt that their theory is true. Therefore it is not scientific and should not be taught in schools. This doesn't mean Intelligent Design isn't true. It just means it hasn't been proven and therefore is not scientific

While Evolution, like any theory, has its problems, it has been verified time and again that the theory is factual and valid. Many religious people believe Charles Darwin said humans "descended from the apes."

According to Ph.D Michio Kaku, Darwin never said this. He said that humans descended from an ancestor that shared a genetic link or trait with ape like species. It is not exactly the same thing.

But the more important questions that has to be asked is why is this debate being brought up here in the US? Why aren't other countries debating about this issue? In Europe even the common uneducated person believes in Evolution.

The answer is clear. The debate between Intelligent Design versus Evolution is a false debate funded by large corporate interests in order to further dumb down the population. George W. Bush and his administration have greatly hurt the scientific community since taking office in the year 2000.

Despite the great promises offered by stem cell research, the Bush admin has all but outlawed it, forcing American scientists to relocate in Europe and Asia, creating a "brain drain" out of the US. The plan of the globalists is to block any technology which could be used to help people or prolong their lifespan. Remember in the Global 2000 plan the globalists want to reduce the world's population. Allowing technology like stem cells to be promoted won't allow them to easily achieve this goal.

This is not an accident. The globalists want to destroy the US, and the best way to do this is to destroy the educational system and dumb down the population, which is successfully being done in many cases.

In order for the US to remain a technological super power, we need to stop allowing our religious believe to interfere with our scientific advancement.

Why Are Companies In Such A Rush To Put Americans In Debt?

I don't watch much television these days, but when I do I can't help but notice the increasing amount of payday and title loan commercials which seem to come on the tv screen every 15 minutes. If it isn't a commercial about a payday or title loan, its about financing for a car or computer. Why does it seem companies are in such a rush to put Americans in debt?

I was at my local bank recently and posed a question to the teller. I asked her if she knew of a way for me to convert my money into gold or silver. She looked at me like I was speaking a alien language and told me she had no idea. When I check my mail I seem to get flooded with offer after offer for credit cards from a variety of different companies.

It is a fact that the average American owes eight thousand dollars in credit card debt. Add to this the fact that the government passed a law in October making it difficult for people to file bankruptcy in order to get out of financial trouble.

Add to this the fact that earlier in 2005, banks begin making plans to double the amount of credit card monthly payments. Combine this with a weakening economy where the dollar is losing its value and American jobs are being sent overseas, and you have a recipe for financial disaster. Alan Greenspan predicts the housing market bubble will "burst." When you owe someone money, and cannot easily pay it off, you are a slave to your debt.

Yet most Americans are completely in the dark. Spending was at a all time high this holiday season, with Americans spending record amounts on their credit cards. Credit card companes like Discover and others were in a rush to give people cards so that they could do their holiday shopping.

But just because someone gives something to you doesn't make them benevolent. Americans are sheep getting fattened up for the slaughterhouse. The economy is going down the drain, and only the most alert and cautious are aware of it.

It is easy to see that we could have another 1939 Great Depression here in the US all over again. And like the first Great Depression, this depression will be orchestrated and planned by central bankers who have gained control of the money system in the US, and thus the economy.

I'm not a psychic and I can't predict the future with 100% certainty. But here is a list of what I'm planning do to in order to protect myself financially and you may want to consider doing the same:

1. Pay off all your credit cards and debt as soon as possible.
2. Avoid getting large mortgages which you do not have the ability to easily pay off. If you want a house, look into getting a foreclosed home.
3.Save your money and begin buying gold and silver. Lots of gold and silver.
4.Avoid payday loans, title loans, and any other loans which will put you into debt.
5.Reduce your standard of living.
6.Avoid paying retail value for cars, clothes, jewelry, electronics, and other items which rapidly depreciate in value. Only pay wholesale.
7. Save as much money as possible. Avoid living "paycheck to paycheck" at all costs.
8.If possible, consider starting your own business. People tend to do better when they work for themselves.

That is my financial advice for the future. I'm going to take my own advice and I hope you do to.

Big Brother's deadly reach

We can drop the glittering ball amid the crush in Times Square. We can count the final seconds in the crush-free solitude of our TV parlors. We can wear silly party hats, blow silly noisemakers, kiss significants or strangers, inadvertently miss midnight by falling asleep in our Lazy Boys, or advertently miss it by banishing ourselves early to bed in the grandiloquent philosophy of, like, whatever.

We can ring out 2005 and ring in 2006. But we can't seem to rid ourselves of 1984.

Big Brotherism is back in the news. The specter of it surfaced in the last days of the old year and now it's slopping over into the new. It is as though we have all fallen into an Orwell and can't get out.

The Big Brother in question here is the super-secret National Security Agency, America's global stethoscope. Super-secret, that is, until Dec.16, when The New York Times reported that since shortly after 9/11, President Bush has allowed the NSA to electronically eavesdrop on conversations involving individuals inside the United States _ without getting a warrant from a judge in a secret court created three decades ago for just that purpose. Yes, it revealed some security info about surveillance. But what made this a story that had to be reported was that a president was deliberately ignoring the law. So the Times reported and now the American people can decide.

But faster than you could say "George Orwell, report to rewrite!" the scoop ignited firestorms of criticism and explanation. Distortion became the weapon of choice for Bush bashers and Bush defenders (including Himself). Soon Americans were eavesdropping on a loud debate about a now-unrecognizable reality.

Our job today is to clean up the Old Year's mess by making clear what is really happening and what is not; what is unlawful and what is not; and _ mainly _ what is needed to keep Americans safe in the global terror age and what is not.

The controversy began with a national security need that is undeniably urgent. Shortly after al Qaeda's terrorist attacks on U.S. soil, computers and cell phones seized in raids on al Qaeda suspects overseas revealed contacts with people in the United States.

The President: Quite appropriately, President Bush sought to immediately begin eavesdropping on those al Qaeda-connected people. The Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act permits him to do so instantaneously _ for 48 hours while he seeks a warrant from a secret court that since the 1970s granted more than 18,000 and denied just four. But Bush ignored the law, ordering the continued surveillance in a way that, by any definition, is unwarranted.

The Critics: Republicans as well as Democrats criticized the president's disregard of the law. But many Democrats labeled it a sweeping program to spy on Americans _ that goes too far. It is spying on people in America who, evidence shows, were in contact with suspected terrorists _ and must be monitored. On Dec. 21, a page-one New York Times report headlined "Spying Program Snared U.S. Calls," fanned the flames while covering the fire by reporting some NSA intercepts were "purely domestic communications." Example: a foreign-based cell phone thought to be overseas was actually in America and called another U.S.-based person. Technically it was domestic and should have been an FBI snoop under existing rules.

Rethink and Reform: The globalization of economics, communications and terrorism, demands that we rethink old rules requiring the NSA to conduct only foreign snooping and the FBI only domestic. (As if the FBI never violated individual's rights!) Consider this: An al Qaeda operative in Pakistan e-mails someone in New York, who instantly forwards it to someone in Chicago. Requiring a bureaucratic handoff in mid-snoop invites a catastrophic snafu (recall the FBI's pre-9/11 bungling). Our protection comes only from requiring a secret court judge's warrant to eavesdrop. And, of course, our unshakeable trust that our leader will not lie to us.

A Guarantee President Bush Cannot Ignore: Our final word comes not from a mere pundit but from an informed source familiar with Bush's thinking: "... any time you hear the United States government talking about wiretap, it requires _ a wiretap requires a court order. Nothing has changed, by the way. When we're talking about chasing down terrorists, we're talking about getting a court order before we do so. It's important for our fellow citizens to understand, when you think Patriot Act, constitutional guarantees are in place when it comes to doing what is necessary to protect our homeland, because we value the Constitution."

Scientists recruit wasps for war on terror

Scientists at a Georgia laboratory have developed what could be a low-tech, low-cost weapon in the war on terrorism: trained wasps.

The tiny, non-stinging wasps can check for hidden explosives at airports and monitor for toxins in subway tunnels.

"You can rear them by the thousands, and you can train them within a matter of minutes," says Joe Lewis, a U.S. Agriculture Department entomologist. "This is just the very tip of the iceberg of a very new resource."

Lewis and others at the University of Georgia-Tifton Campus developed a handheld "Wasp Hound" to contain the wasps while they sniff out chemicals and other substances.

Lewis and his partner, University of Georgia biological engineer Glen Rains, say their device is ready for pilot tests and could be available for commercial use in five to 10 years.

Rains says the wasps could one day be used instead of dogs to check for explosives in cargo containers coming in to the nation's seaports, in vehicles crossing at border checkpoints, at airports and anywhere else where security should be tight.

"It's real easy to learn how to work with them," he says about the wasps. "You could show somebody what to do in 30 to 40 minutes. And they're very specific in what they learn."

This new method comes as the government has spent hundreds of millions of dollars on high-tech equipment and training since 9/11 to secure the nation from another terrorist attack.

Bomb-sniffing dogs cost thousands of dollars and take months to train. High-tech equipment can cost hundreds of thousands of dollars per unit and often has spotty performance.

"We don't have portable, flexible systems," Lewis says.

Scientists started working with the species, a type of parasitic wasp called Microplitis croceipes, decades ago — long before the terrorist attacks in 2001.

In the 1990s, the Defense Department paid for part of that work to find out whether wasps could be used for a variety of defense purposes, including sniffing out land mines. They couldn't do that well because the areas they would have to check are too vast.

The scientists — funded by the Agriculture Department and the University of Georgia — have looked at other uses for the wasps.

Rains says the wasps can be trained to detect fungal diseases on crops while the damage is still below ground and can't be seen.

This method would help farmers avoid having to spread toxic fungicide over an entire crop after the disease spreads. Rains says farmers would save money, and consumers and the environment would benefit as well.

The wasps may also be trained for medical uses, including detecting cancer or ulcers by smelling someone's breath.

They probably can be trained like dogs to find bodies buried in rubble, Rains says.

Given the strong government effort since 9/11 to focus on the nation's security, the scientists see a vast market for the wasps to detect explosives.

The wasps are trained with sugar water by using the classical conditioning techniques made famous by Pavlov's dogs. Rains says the wasps are sensitive to a host of chemical odors, including 2,4-DNT, a volatile compound used in dynamite.

To do their work, five wasps — each a half-inch long — are placed in a plastic cylinder that is 15 inches tall. This "Wasp Hound," which costs roughly $100 per unit, has a vent in one end and a camera that connects to a laptop computer.

When the wasps pick up an odor they've been trained to detect they gather by the vent — a response that can be measured by the computer or actually seen by observers.

Lewis says the wasps, when exposed to some chemicals, "can detect as low as four parts per billion, which is an incredibly small amount."

He says the "ability to capture nature and its marvels is ... revolutionary."

Rains says, "The sensitivity of animals (and insects) to chemicals in general is probably beyond what we can comprehend. We don't really know what the limits are."

He Who Lies Most, Lies Worst

President Bush is contending that a government leak about Osama Bin Laden using his satellite phone in 1998 resulted in the Al Qaeda leader avoiding the phone or "going dark," to use an National Security Agency (NSA) term. That, Bush maintains, resulted in an intelligence failure.

Once again, Bush is just plain lying (along with being misinformed). It was no secret that Bin Laden stopped using his satellite phone in 1996 after Chechen President Dzhokar Dudayev was killed by a Russian air-to-ground missile as he was talking on his satellite phone. In that case, Dudayev erred by keeping his conversation longer than two minutes, ample time for a joint Russian-US operation to pinpoint his location using an overhead U.S. communications intelligence satellite. The editor reported and spoke in detail on that operation in 1996 ("DID NSA HELP RUSSIA TARGET DUDAYEV?"
by Wayne Madsen, Covert Action Quarterly, Summer 1997.

Strong evidence suggests that the US, in violation of its ban on assassination, used the world's most sophisticated satellite technology to help Russia target the Chechen leader, and boost both Yeltsin's and Clinton's election chances.)

and was once berated by a senior Pentagon officer for referring to the public news reports concerning it in an address to a seminar in Tyson's Corner, Virginia. Also, from Wayne Madsen, "Report Alleges US Role in Angola Arms-for-Oil Scandal," CorpWatch, May 17, 2002:

"Jardo Muekalia, who headed UNITA's Washington office until it was forced to close in 1997, says that that the military forces that ultimately succeeded in assassinating [Jonas] Savimbi were supported by commercial satellite imagery and other intelligence support provided by Houston-based Brown & Root, Cheney's old outfit. Both the State Department and Pentagon vehemently deny any US government role in the killing of Savimbi.

But the US frequently uses such intelligence wizardry to help track down troublesome leaders. In 1996, according to US and British intelligence sources, the NSA may have passed on location data to the Russians on the location of Chechen President Dzhokar Dudayev (he was struck by an air-to-surface missile while talking on his satellite phone). In 1999, the New York Times reported that Turkey captured Kurdish Workers' Party leader Abdallah Ocalan after his cell phone location data was tracked by U.S., British, and Israeli intelligence agents."

"Chechen leader Dzokhar Dudayev knew he needed to limit the time he spent using the satellite phone given to him by his Islamic allies in Turkey. It was the spring of 1996, and the survivor of two Russian assassination attempts was wary of Russia's ability to home in on his communication signal - and his location.

But on the evening of April 21, Dudayev, baited by Russian President Boris Yeltsin's offer of peace talks, called an adviser in Moscow to discuss the impending negotiations.

This time, Dudayev stayed on the phone too long.

American spy satellites, trained on Iraq and Kuwait, were quickly turned north to the Caucasus mountains and Chechnya, according to a former communications specialist with the U.S. National Security Agency (NSA). The satellites pinpointed the Chechen leader's location to within meters of his satellite phone signal, and the coordinates were sent to a Russian Sukhoi Su-25 fighter jet.

Dudayev was killed by two laser-guided air-to-surface missiles while still holding the phone that gave him away.

This deadly lesson, which the U.S. has never officially confirmed, was not lost on Osama bin Laden, a purported Chechen ally who fed money and weapons to their fight against the Russians. That lesson was complete when bin Laden subsequently received word that U.S. spy satellites, perhaps the very same that located Dudayev, had eavesdropped on his own satellite phone conversations. And members of the NSA played the tapes for visitors.

'Bin Laden knows what has happened and he's a smart man,' says Wayne Madsen, a security consultant and former communications specialist with the U.S. Navy and the NSA. 'He's learned his lesson... and he knows technology is a double-edged sword so he's using it carefully.'

Today bin Laden is believed to school his soldiers in high-tech tools of communication. E-mail, online dead drops, satellite phones, cell phones, encryption and digital camouflage called stenography (see story, next page) are all tools of Al Qaeda, bin Laden's terrorist network. Those high-tech tools enable members of Al Qaeda to communicate with terrorist cells (or groups) hidden around the world.

But bin Laden himself uses none of it.

Instead, he has fallen back on ancient methods of communication, denying the U.S. and its allies the chance to track electronic footprints, satellite signals or even the radiation emissions from cellular phones. A grid of trusted human couriers, foot soldiers melding in with civilians, crisscross Afghanistan and flow into neighboring countries carrying written and whispered messages that are then electronically shot around the world."

Bush is actually trying to stop the flood of leaks from NSA and other intelligence agencies by disgruntled analysts and other professionals by making noise about "leaks." Its a desperate move on Bush's part. There is a war going on right now in the US and most Americans are not even aware of it. This is a war that has taken the lives of some 800 people in the last year and the television news stations have hardly mentioned it.

Nuevo Laredo, a city in northern Mexico which borders the Texas town of Laredo, is the source of many of these crimes. Mexican special forces highered by cartels are heavily armed with RPGs and AK47s, and have killed police officers and innocent bystanders, many of whom are Americans.

This problem and many others could be easily solved if the US government enacted stronger immigration policies and built fortified borders. Illegal immigration is a problem frequently discussed in political circles here in the US, but in actuality little is done to stop the problem. In fact, the problem seems to be encouraged and amplified dispite rhetoric to the contrary.

In this blog entry I want to discuss illegal immigration and why it hurts the US and its citizens in the long run, as well as the immigrants. When you talk about immigration issues, many immigrants who live in this country or their relatives accuse you of racism.

Race has nothing to do with it, even though that is what the globalists want you to think. The future of the United States is in jeopardy. The goal of the globalists is to turn the US into a third world country. The average American cannot compete with someone from India, China, or Mexico. The job wages will plunge, fattening the pockets of large transnational corporations while plunging both Americans and immigrants into poverty.

Then we are expected to fight with each other over jobs, giving the government an excuse to crackdown on us and further the agenda of turning the US into a police state. It is up to us to fight back against these evil forces which wish to enslave us.

There are many dangers to increased illegal immigration. Wide open borders allow the possibility of a terrorist sneaking a biological or nuclear weapon clandestinely into the US. Certain diseases that aren't common in the United States have seen a dramatic increase in the last few years. But the most dangrous problem of illegal immigration is economic in nature.

Once illegal immigrants are allowed to get low paying jobs in the US, they are then tricked into getting credit cards, car loans, and large mortgages. Americans who on average already have a lot of debt run the risk of losing their jobs and being forced to compete with these immigrants.

What happens in this situation is obvious. The illegal immigrants are put in a position of perpetual slavery for the rest of their lives by struggling with low paying jobs to pay off enormous debts. Americans lose their jobs or are forced to compete and also become perpetual slaves, working their entire lives to pay off their ever increasing debt.

The perpetuators of this crime have a clear objective. Despite their rhetoric, they want nothing better than to destroy the US, and the best way to do this is economically. They wish to turn this from first world to third world, and we are the only ones who can stop them.

THE Soviet dictator Josef Stalin ordered the creation of Planet of the Apes-style warriors by crossing humans with apes, according to recently uncovered secret documents.

Moscow archives show that in the mid-1920s Russia's top animal breeding scientist, Ilya Ivanov, was ordered to turn his skills from horse and animal work to the quest for a super-warrior.

According to Moscow newspapers, Stalin told the scientist: "I want a new invincible human being, insensitive to pain, resistant and indifferent about the quality of food they eat."

In 1926 the Politburo in Moscow passed the request to the Academy of Science with the order to build a "living war machine". The order came at a time when the Soviet Union was embarked on a crusade to turn the world upside down, with social engineering seen as a partner to industrialisation: new cities, architecture, and a new egalitarian society were being created.

The Soviet authorities were struggling to rebuild the Red Army after bruising wars.

And there was intense pressure to find a new labour force, particularly one that would not complain, with Russia about to embark on its first Five-Year Plan for fast-track industrialisation.

Mr Ivanov was highly regarded. He had established his reputation under the Tsar when in 1901 he established the world's first centre for the artificial insemination of racehorses.

Mr Ivanov's ideas were music to the ears of Soviet planners and in 1926 he was dispatched to West Africa with $200,000 to conduct his first experiment in impregnating chimpanzees.

Meanwhile, a centre for the experiments was set up in Georgia - Stalin's birthplace - for the apes to be raised.

Mr Ivanov's experiments, unsurprisingly from what we now know, were a total failure. He returned to the Soviet Union, only to see experiments in Georgia to use monkey sperm in human volunteers similarly fail.

A final attempt to persuade a Cuban heiress to lend some of her monkeys for further experiments reached American ears, with the New York Times reporting on the story, and she dropped the idea amid the uproar.

Mr Ivanov was now in disgrace. His were not the only experiments going wrong: the plan to collectivise farms ended in the 1932 famine in which at least four million died.

For his expensive failure, he was sentenced to five years' jail, which was later commuted to five years' exile in the Central Asian republic of Kazakhstan in 1931. A year later he died, reportedly after falling sick while standing on a freezing railway platform.

Why do they need the Patriot Act to fail? Because if the Globalists carry out another terror attack right now, people will be inclined to say that the existing Patriot Act powers were in the hands of the government and they failed to protect us, thus discrediting the police state legislation.

This was the tone of a memo circulating amongst Republican elite last month which voiced concern about how another terror attack would play out. The authors of the memo feared that people's loss of faith in their belief that the government could protect them would override group think reactions of begging the state to ensure their safety once again under any circumstances.

If for a few months the government can bemoan the fact that they don't have Patriot Act powers to protect the American people, at that time it would be expedient for them to set off the suitcase nuke or release the biological.

The New World Order agenda is almost complete but right at the end of the line they're encountering far more resistance than they ever bargained for, which is why they may have to opt for a more sophisticated shift in tactics rather than the simple formula of staged terror and fearmongering.

The Senate is always more politically conniving than the House and the Globalists have a far firmer grip over it than they do the House, which is largely made up of a combination of people with misguided good intentions and those who are just selfishly interested in greasing up the power pole.

We have to consider the timing of the leak that Bush authorized the NSA to spy on Americans. The limited nature of this so-called revelation is a story within itself. The NSA has been spying on Americans for decades and Echelon has had the capability to track every communication in real time for at least ten years.

Newsmax admits that the Clinton administration used Echelon to spy on Americans but then performs mental gymnastics and double think by suggesting that this makes it OK for Republicans to spy on Americans too. No it doesn't! When Clinton did it, it was bad, when Bush does it, it's still bad!

Best-selling books like those of James Bamford written in the 90's brought to light NSA declassified documents confirming the NSA were spying on millions of Americans by keyword logging methods.

In stating that the NSA watches American citizens, the New York Times was by no means breaking an exclusive story. This was merely an attempt to spin what was already known and try to justify it by saying that Bush wanted to stop the terrorists. Consequently the NSA spying on Americans if it's 'to stop Al-Qaeda' is made palatable amongst ordinary Americans.

Subsequently the routine daily use of such measures becomes the norm, because the New York Times 'exclusive' was a means of announcing the use of such measures, coming out in the open and legitimizing the whole program. The New York Times is selling the story to the American people by whitewashing it.

Therefore the duality of the Patriot Act not being renewed and the NSA 'revelations' will become intertwined in the minds of the public. So when the next terror event takes place both can be trumpeted and those that questioned them and stood up for the 'God damned piece of paper' that is the Constitution will be castigated as the enemy.

The Echelon spying network and its operational infrastructure has been publicly admitted for a long time. The five Echelon countries, The United States, Canada, Great Britain, Australia and New Zealand all work in tandem to spy on each other's citizens, with Echelon personnel loaned out to each different country. This enables them to bypass laws stating that a government cannot spy on its own citizens, which is why Bush, Rice, Gonzales and others have been able to spin it by saying that the spying is international and not domestic.

The architecture of world government and the global surveillance grid is already is place and has been for years. It gives me no pleasure to send this letter, but with each passing day since your July 28 vote for the Central American Free Trade Agreement, my sadness for America increases. And you, Congressmen, who swore to defend the Constitution of the United States against all enemies, foreign and domestic, betrayed your country in the disgraceful post-midnight, vote-buying debacle that delivered the CAFTA.

In fact CAFTA and NAFTA, as well as the upcoming FTAA, will ultimately make corporations and politicians richer and more powerful, trivialize U.S. citizenship, oppress taxpayers, and make the Constitution and U.S. sovereignty irrelevant.

It’s not as if you didn’t know what the passage of CAFTA would mean for the U.S. The agreement has been widely touted as an extension of NAFTA and we all know what that has brought: drugs, gangs, disease, and a never-ending invasion of illegal job seekers and dependents, not to mention record trade deficits. NAFTA has sucked up more than a million U.S. jobs even as trade deficits with Mexico and Canada have ballooned to a whopping $111 billion.

The ink on the accord was barely dry when Mexico declared bankruptcy and sank into its worst depression in 60 years. The U.S. taxpayers then underwrote a mega-billion dollar bailout! Turning a flood of illegal border-crossers into a tsunami that shows no sign of abating, NAFTA has overwhelmed our Arizona law enforcement, job markets, schools and hospitals.

Dependent on U.S. dollar remittances from Mexicans residing in the U.S., the NAFTA emboldened Mexican government not only encourages illegal border-crossers, it helps them get here and, once here, insists that U.S. policies favor them.

Congressmen — as you well know, Mexico is little more than a narco-state, responsible for 92 percent of the cocaine sold in the U.S. in 2004. Law enforcement officers on both sides of the border are increasingly attacked by paramilitary units, aka “Zetas”, escorting drug shipments into the U.S. and reportedly offering a $50,000 bounty on Border Patrol agents and police officers.

In Nuevo Laredo, the busiest border entry, the U.S. ambassador announced — two days after your vote for the border-opening CAFTA — that he was closing the consulate for security reasons.

CAFTA will exacerbate the problems produced by NAFTA and extend its failures to the poverty-laden counties of Central America and the Dominican Republic. But you know all this Congressmen, just as you know that modern trade agreements are less about trade than about redistributing people, power, and wealth.

CAFTA is not a free trade agreement! It further erodes our Constitutional protections, permitting the override of the law of the land by external trade committees, (appointed — not elected), virtually eliminating our borders, and permitting the free flow of “immigrants” (formally called illegals) from Central American countries. It will further increase the already excessive regulation of business and people by the government as well as the flow of our industrial base and jobs out of the U.S.

Still you voted for CAFTA, and it was approved by a paltry two votes. Many of your colleagues were bought off or blackmailed. Some simply decide to cast their lot with the corporate elite and the international socialists intent on destroying American sovereignty. What is your reason for voting “yes”?

It is the height of arrogance for those who voted for this mess to think they have a mandate to rewrite the Constitution or do harm to this nation that Americans have fought and died for nearly 2 centuries. Alpizar Killing Buried By Media

The fallout from the shooting of a mentally distraught Rigoberto Alpizar by federal air marshals in Miami last week continues. An analysis by libertarian author James Bovard in Editor & Publisher concludes that neither the official government explanation (Alpizar made a "bomb threat"), nor the mainstream media's uncritical acceptance of such claims, has done much to improve public trust for either institution.

He first cites allegations by Dave Adams, a spokesman for the Federal Air Marshal Service, that Alpizar had shouted "I have a bomb in my bag" while running up and down the aisle of the plane as it sat on the runway, and notes that "the vast majority of the media" have simply repeated this contention without further examination. Yet within a day of the incident there were already counterclaims being aired from the actual passengers on that plane, that no such shouts occurred, and that, in fact, "Alpizar was silent as he ran past them on his way to the exit." Bovard finds it significant that the original story "did not even survive two daily news cycles."

Only a day later, he says, "the conservative press rushed to exonerate." He cites both Investors Business Daily and the Washington Times as deriding "second-guessing" and glossing over the issue with praise for the "bravery" of the air marshals. Even the allegedly liberal press outlets "raced to take the government's word," from the Washington Post to the Boston Herald, although, as Bovard notes, "The Herald did see one risk from the killing: 'Members of Congress ought not use the excuse of the Miami incident to stick their noses into a layer of security that is clearly the most effective defense we have against future hijackings.' But oversight has been an unnatural act for members of Congress since at least 9/11, so the Herald has little to fear."

Further pro-marshal coverage, Bovard notes, came from Louisville, Memphis, Pittsburgh and Oklahoma City, among other places, while even "the Brahmins at PBS NewsHour" proclaimed, in an online article on Dec. 12, that "No serious questions have been raised about the actions of the air marshals who killed the passenger last week." Bovard finds this quite telling: "Apparently, it is not serious if federal officials apparently make false claims in a case in which an American citizen is killed," he declares. He concludes the analysis with the hope that "jurisdictional conflicts between the Federal Air Marshal Service and the FBI or Miami police" might yet result in some truth emerging, but noted sadly that "If the media continue acting like the cop on South Park - 'Nothing to see here, folks, just move along!' the odds of any such revelation go from slim to none."

9/11: Missing Black Boxes in World Trade Center Attacks Found by Firefighters, Analyzed by NTSB, Concealed by FBI

One of the more puzzling mysteries of 9-11 is what ever happened to the flight recorders of the two planes that hit the World Trade Center towers. Now it appears that they may not be missing at all.

Counterpunch has learned that the FBI has them.

Flight recorders (commonly known as black boxes, though these days they are generally bright orange) are required on all passenger planes. There are always two-a flight data recorder that keeps track of a plane's speed, altitude, course and maneuvers, and a cockpit voice recorder which keeps a continuous record of the last 30 minutes of conversation inside a plane's cockpit. These devices are constructed to be extremely durable, and are installed in a plane's tail section, where they are least likely suffer damaged on impact. They are designed to withstand up to 30 minutes of 1800-degree heat (more than they would have faced in the twin towers crashes), and to survive a crash at full speed into the ground.

All four of the devices were recovered from the two planes that hit the Pentagon and that crashed in rural Pennsylvania. In the case of American Airlines Flight 77, which hit the Pentagon, the FBI reports that the flight data recorder survived and had recoverable information, but the voice recorder was allegedly too damaged to provide any record. In the case of United Airlines Flight 93, which hit the ground at 500 mph in Pennsylvania, the situation was reversed: the voice recorder survived but the flight data box was allegedly damaged beyond recovery.

But the FBI states, and also reported to the 9-11 Commission, that none of the recording devices from the two planes that hit the World Trade Center were ever recovered.

There has always been some skepticism about this assertion, particularly as two N.Y. City firefighters, Mike Bellone and Nicholas De Masi, claimed in 2004 that they had found three of the four boxes, and that Federal agents took them and told the two men not to mention having found them. (The FBI denies the whole story.) Moreover, these devices are almost always located after crashes, even if not in useable condition (and the cleanup of the World Trade Center was meticulous, with even tiny bone fragments and bits of human tissue being discovered so that almost all the victims were ultimately identified). As Ted Lopatkiewicz, director of public affairs at the National Transportation Safety Agency which has the job of analyzing the boxes' data, says, "It's very unusual not to find a recorder after a crash, although it's also very unusual to have jets flying into buildings."

Now there is stronger evidence that something is amiss than simply the alleged non-recovery of all four of those boxes. A source at the National Transportation Safety Board, the agency that has the task of deciphering the date from the black boxes retrieved from crash sites-including those that are being handled as crimes and fall under the jurisdiction of the FBI-says the boxes were in fact recovered and were analyzed by the NTSB.

"Off the record, we had the boxes," the source says. "You'd have to get the official word from the FBI as to where they are, but we worked on them here."

The official word from the NTSB is that the WTC crash site black boxes never turned up. "No recorders were recovered from the World Trade Center," says the NTSB's Lopatkiewicz. "At least none were delivered to us by the FBI." He adds that the agency has "always had a good relationship' with the FBI and that in all prior crime-related crashes or flight incidents, they have brought the boxes to the NTSB for analysis.

For its part, the FBI is still denying everything, though with curious bit of linguistic wiggle room. "To the best of my knowledge, the flight recording devices from the World Trade Center crashes were never recovered. At least we never had them," says FBI spokesman Stephen Kodak.

What the apparent existence of the black boxes in government hands means is unclear.

If the information in those boxes is recoverable, or if, as is likely, it has been recovered already, it could give crucial evidence regarding the skill of the hijacker/pilots, perhaps of their strategy, of whether they were getting outside help in guiding them to their targets, of how fast they were flying and a host of other things.

Why would the main intelligence and law enforcement arm of the U.S. government want to hide from the public not just the available information about the two hijacked flights that provided the motivation and justification for the nation's "War on Terror" and for its two wars against Afghanistan and Iraq, but even the fact that it has the devices which could contain that information? Conspiracy theories abound, with some claiming the planes were actually pilotless military aircraft, or that they had little or nothing to do with the building collapses. The easiest way to quash such rumors and such fevered thinking would be openness.

Instead we have the opposite: a dark secrecy that invites many questions regarding the potentially embarrassing or perhaps even sinister information that might be on those tapes.

Why The Global Energy Crisis is a Scam.

In the last few years, people have been bombarded with news about the global "energy crisis" which has been followed by increasing amounts in gas and electricity.

Those who do not have a good understanding of physics or science falsely believe these lies. In this article, I intend to explain why the "global energy crisis" is a big scam perpetuated by big corporations who wish to bend the laws of supply and demand for their own financial gain.

But first a bit of science. What exactly is energy? Energy is defined in the dictionary as the "capacity to do work." Energy and matter both make up the foundation of the universe. Energy cannot be created or destroyed, but is merely transformed or transferred.

Based on this definition, energy in the strictest sense of the word, is infinite. We have a sun sitting 150 million kilometers away which has enough energy to power this entire planet. Energy can be collected from water, from wind, from geothermal sources. To suggest we are in an "energy crisis" is ridiculous.

Yet this is what the power companies would have us believe. And yet throughout history there have been many scientists and inventors who have invented devices and proposed theories that would allow our energy crisis to disappear. Yet their names have been removed from history books and their names forgotten.

Men like T. Henry Moray, Nikola Tesla, and Viktor Shauberger are names the average American college student has never heard of. Yet these men discovered methods of cheaply harnessing abundant amounts of energy.

At the end of World War 2 the US military conducted a top secret operation known as Project Paperclip. In this operation Nazi scientists were kidnapped and brought to the US illegally. Apparently German scientists made technological discoveries that were not considered by American scientists.

Out of Project Paperclip came the B2 Stealth Bomber and the cruise missile. All cruise missles today including the Tomahawk are all based on the original German V1.

But there were many other discoveries that German scientist made that have not been declassified. Even after sixty years, certain information obtained during Project Parperclip remains classified. Could it be that some of the discoveries made by German scientists would allow for abundant energy also?

Only time will tell. The fact that the US government keeps this information secret shows the corruption of the military industrial complex which is destroying this country.

Bush Authorized NSA To Spy On Americans: Further Evidence of A Country In Decline.

The recent revelations made this past weekend that the Bush administration authorized spying on Americans by the NSA is just one more reason why the United States is in gradual decline. Our government is run by individuals who, while keeping their information secret from Americans, are in a rush to covertly spy on Americans. In other words, most Americans know nothing about their government. But our government knows everything about us.

This sets the stage for tyranny and fascism. The revelations made this weekend should frighten all Americans who value freedom and basic human rights. If you are not concerned, you do not understand the severity of the situation.

Anyone with a rudimentary understanding of the US Constitution understands that this is a violation of the fourth amendment, which restricts Americans from being subjected to unjust searches and seizures. This includes covert spying on us by our govenment.

The news this weekend is really nothing new. Skillful investigative journalists have known for years that the government was spying on Americans. Cell phones, email, and all other forms of communications are easily watched by the National Security Agency.

The thing about this whole situation that angers me is that when the government finally comes out and admits what they're doing, they put a big spin on it and say that it was used to "protect the freedoms of Americans" and to "prevent terrorist attacks."

This is a classic example of giving up freedoms for security. It doesn't work and never has. Americans will simply find more of their freedoms disappearing. We have a government who has lots of information that is classified and is restricted access but yet, they are allowed to get whatever information they want on us.

Attorney General Alberto Gonzalez says that "war powers give Bush the right to allow domestic spying." This is ridiculous. Now they are using the war as an excuse to spy one us.

Americans better wake up and realize our government has been hijacked by maniacs, and the ultimate objective is to destroy this country in order to bring in world government.

Xbox 360: Why you should avoid buying it at retail value.

In late November, Microsoft released its second generation console known as Xbox 360. The video game system retails for around $599.00 and received record pre-orders prior to its release. Many people were brainwashed into running out and buying the console, and some even stood in long lines, getting into fights when the stores ran out.

We here at the Conspiracy Zone believe you should avoid buying the system at all costs, at the very most purchasing it at wholesale value. Why? Because Microsoft is a global multinational corporation who had the Xbox 360s cheaply manufactured in a country that is undemocratic and who has antagonistic feelings toward the US.

The name of that country is China. China has the worst record of human rights abuses known to the world, and it was recently in the mainstream news that the country sells the organs of executed prisoners to western countries. The Chinese government also has full control over the internet, not allowing any websites(like this) to be built which criticizes their government.

Yet despite this, Microsoft gladly runs overseas to have their video game console cheaply manufactured in this country and then sold to Americans for outrageous prices. This is a slap in the face to Americans who value liberty and freedom.

Yet most Americans have no idea that the new Xbox console was even manufactured in China. But that shouldn't surprise anyone. Most products in American stores today or not made in America. The products are often manufactured in countries that hate everything America stands for.

This begs the question of why anyone would run out and stand in a long line for 4 hours like a slave in order to buy a product like this from Microsoft. The answer is because people are brainwashed.

Any intelligent person knows that the graphics on Xbox 360 are not revolutionary compared to its predecessor. The graphics are still 3D, more enhanced 3D, but still 3D. The difference between Xbox and Xbox 360 is not the same as Xbox and the Super Nintendo.

Therefore a $599.00 price tage is ridiculous. What is even more revealing is how the system has suddenly become "rare" and "hard to find". People are selling Xbox 360s on Ebay for thousands of dollars, and people are paying it because the stores don't have them.

Do you think this is an accident? In economics it is called supply and demand, artificial scarcity. Microsoft has plenty of Xbox 360 consoles, but there is more money to be made by reducing supply and increasing demand.

Now it is on the mainstream news that Xbox 360 consoles have overheating problems and freeze during gameplay. A man in Chicago has filed a class action lawsuit against the software company. It doesn't surprise me the console is poorly designed. It was manufactured in a country that has poor human rights values.

America Slipping towards a Totalitarian Society

It is in my firm opinion that Americans live in some of the most dangerous times our country has ever seen. The evidence is overwhelming that the land of the free and home of the brave is slowly becoming the land of the not so free or brave.

As 2005 comes to a close, and many people at home enjoy the holidays, I'm taking the time to reflect over the many events that have happened this year. 2005 has been an interesting year, to say the least.

Back in June, a law was passed called Eminent Domain which allows private real estate developers to force people off their land if they choose to build a casino or resort hotel. This is totally against the Constitution of the United States, which says that private property may be taken from citizens ONLY IF it is for developement for public use.

Congress also recently passed a law making it difficult for Americans to file bankruptcy in order to get out of debt. You would think this would raise eyebrows, but instead statistics show that Americans are spending record amounts this holiday season, putting themselves into debt that will take most of next year to pay off.

Along with this the city of San Francisco passed a handgun ban of all firearms for citizens in the city limits who are not military or police officers. Add to this the record layoffs reported by many US companies this year and the increasing cost of gasoline and education, along with CAFTA being passed.

Any intelligent person who takes all these puzzle pieces and puts them together gets a terrifying picture. A picture of a republic in decline. Everyday the freedoms which many Americans take for granted are slowly but surely being eroded.

The sad thing is many don't even notice it. Americans go on shopping and engaging in everyday affairs not realizing the poison that is slowly killing them. When you talk about conspiracy, people tell you you're a kook. But this is all part of psychological conditioning by those who rule our society.

I challenge people to become informed and find out what is really happening to our world. I tell you, it is a lot different than what your nightly news show is telling you. And what you will discover is that things are ten times worse than you could ever imagine.

It has been said that fact is stranger than fiction, and whoever said that is right. The stuff that really goes on in our world is stranger than any movie your could ever see, book you could ever read, or game you could ever play.
